经典电视剧 Farscape 大结局－ The PeaceKeeper Wars

John Crichton和Aeryn Sun在水世界里粉身碎骨，而遥远的星系另一端，一支由指挥官Scorpius率领的和平卫士舰队和一支由皇帝Staleek率领的Scarran舰队正在激烈交战。Scorpius不惜一切代价发动战争的目的只有一个：抓住Crichton，获取他大脑中的虫洞武器，制造大毁灭。

在Rygel、D'Argo等人的努力下，"物化"Crichton和Aeryn的种族将两人还原成人形。特别是Rygel，花了差不多两个月时间才将两人的碎片从冰冷的海底收集完整。Scorpius预感到了Crichton的复活，于是命令指挥舰退出战场，和Sikozu一起前往水世界。

原来，水世界是精灵族（Eidolon）的最后一个栖息地，这个种族曾利用他们的移情术来维系整个星系的和平。12000年前，他们所居住的Arnessk星球环境恶化，很多同类死去，幸存下来的人也已忘记如何使用他们的能力。D'Argo告诉这些精灵人，Moya曾经去过Arnessk，Jool发现并复苏了精灵神殿。于是，精灵人挑选出两位使者（包括一名战士）去联络精灵神殿。正当他们登陆Moya时，Scorpius的舰队抵达星球轨道。Noranti留下来训练这些精灵后裔重新掌握他们失落已久的天赋。由于和平卫士和Scarran之间仍在交战，Scorpius和Sikozu向Moya的船员们提供了穿越和平卫士势力范围所必须的通行密码。

Aeryn本来怀着Crichton的孩子，但是当她重生时，孩子已经不见了。很快大家发现，当Rygel在海底寻找碎片时，其中包含未出生婴儿的那一块被他不小心吃了下去－－现在孩子在他的肚子里！在和平卫士势力范围的边界，一群受雇于和平卫士的Tragan赏金猎人俘获了Moya，并强行登陆进行检查。双方发生了枪战，Tragan人被击退了，Moya通过"星爆"来到Arnessk。

在星球表面，船员们来到精灵神庙，与Jool公主重逢。一开始，精灵教主不愿意提供帮助。但是当听说同族后裔也已随船而来时，精灵教主大为吃惊。精灵教主随后说出了一个秘密：原来Aeryn所属的Sebacean种族是他们27000年前从地球带走并进行基因改良的早期人类。每当精灵族净化一个星域并离开之后，Sebacean族就开始充当该区域的"和平卫士"。精灵族进入休眠期时，他们对整个Sebacean世界所施加的"移情术"不复存在，于是"和平卫士"演变成了一个野蛮扩张的军事帝国。

精灵教主来到Moya，在Stark的陪伴下见到了自己的后裔。与此同时，Scarran皇帝与他的"毁灭者"战舰飞临Arnessk，摧毁了精灵神庙。包括Jool在内，所有的精灵都牺牲了。Scarran对Moya也发出了死亡威胁，要求除飞行员之外的所有船员离开。D'Argo和Chiana乘坐具有隐形装置的Lo'Lann号飞船悄悄离开Moya去寻找帮助，而其他人则设法转移Scarran的注意力。Chiana和D'Argo仔细检查了"毁灭者"的结构，发现了一处弱点。但是他们还没来得及发动突袭，Scarran已经发现了Lo'Lann号。Lo'Lann号被"毁灭者"开火击毁，而其他船员都成了阶下囚。漂浮在太空里的Chiana和D'Argo眼看命在旦夕，D'Argo的儿子Jothee带着一群Luxan武士赶来救起他们。D'Argo将"毁灭者"的弱点告诉了儿子。

Scarran试图探测Crichton大脑中的虫洞知识，但是Crichton却很坚定地告诉他，自己的虫洞知识不是武器。为了证明这一点，他带着Staleek坐上Farscape太空舱，穿越虫洞去见外星古人"爱因斯坦"。这一次Staleek被劝服了，他相信Crichton所掌握的东西还不足以制造武器。Crichton还警告说，如果乱用虫洞知识，将对整个宇宙产生灾难性的后果。

Staleek和Crichton回到了Scarran战舰"毁灭者"，由于精灵教主的"移情术"影响，Staleek变得理性了许多，他甚至开始考虑如何结束与和平卫士之间的战争。但是，野心勃勃的战争大臣Akhna杀死了精灵教主，恢复了Staleek的野性。Staleek怒气冲冲地离开房间，并命人释放毒气。眼见同伴们就要窒息而亡，Stark取下了自己的面罩，用"精神吸收术"从精灵教主身上获得了"移情术"的异能。而此时，Rygel突发痉挛，Crichton只好将胎儿移回Aeryn体内。

Crichton帮助Sikozu点燃了毒气，炸开了牢笼。就在同时，Luxan人从外部瞄准"毁灭者"的弱点发动了攻击。船员们逃离了Scarran人的魔掌，回到了Moya，用"星爆"离开。Scorpius再次劝说Crichton将虫洞技术分享给和平卫士，Crichton愤怒地告诉Scorpius，自己绝不会将虫洞技术告诉和平卫士、Scarran人或任何其他种族。他现在只关心Aeryn以及他们即将出生的孩子，但是为了整个星系的安全，他必须放手一搏。他驾驶Farscape太空舱回去见"爱因斯坦"，让他解开了自己需要的知识。Moya回到了水世界，Stark开始将精灵教主的"移情术"传送给精灵后裔。

很快，水世界也变成了和平卫士和Scarran人争夺的战场，Moya陷入了双方的夹击。为了自救，Moya潜入了海底。Moya的内部传感器损坏了，她只好借助水来寻找失踪的Stark。当众人发现Stark已被Scarran抓获，并且正恐惧于自己的能力，船员们乘坐运输舱回到了星球表面。

众人发现精灵人的城市已被包围，幸存者越来越少。在围攻战中，Scorpius发现Sikozu将自己人的位置故意暴露给Scarran－－作为交换，Scarran承诺不再奴役她的族人。Scorpius十分生气，将Sikozu和其他人留下自生自灭。但是Moya的船员们和Scorpius剩余的和平卫士战士一起杀开一条血路，突破了Scarran的包围。

战斗中，Aeryn分娩了，产下了一个健康的男孩。Jothee和Noranti则拼尽全力从摇摇欲坠的精灵城市中营救出最后一批精灵幸存者。Stark成功将精灵教主的知识传送给精灵后裔中的高级女祭司Muoma。有了这些知识，幸存的精灵人将有希望恢复整个星系的和平。但是当大家赶回Moya时，Ahkna的军队在半路发动伏击。在Ahkna杀死Crichton之前，Aeryn一枪结果了她的性命，但D'Argo却被Scarran长矛射中，生命垂危。为了掩护其他人撤退，D'Argo决定留下来战斗到最后一刻。当其他人登上Moya时，D'Argo也永远地离开了人世，离开了他所热爱的朋友们。

自从毒杀了自己的情人－－和平卫士最高行政长官－－之后，司令官Grayza成了和平卫士的最高统治者。她带领和平卫士军队倾巢出动，打算和Scarran在水世界上空一决雌雄。在Rygel和Scorpius的不断劝说下，Crichton坐上了"精神传播椅"，向剑拔弩张的敌对双方展示了虫洞武器的终极威力。

一个虫洞出现了，飞快地在太空里扩张。无数Scarran和和平卫士的战舰被无情吞没，邻近的星球也被彻底摧毁。虫洞所及之处，万物灰飞湮灭。

Crichton最后告诉双方，这就是使用虫洞武器的结果－－完全毁灭，一切都不复存在。这种武器不能带来和平，只有人才能带来和平。Crichton给双方提供了两个选择：要么玉石俱焚，要么签订永久和平协议。考虑再三后，Grayza 和 Staleek 决定让步，并接受精灵族的调解。Crichton关闭了虫洞，而"爱因斯坦"也从他的大脑中取走了所有的虫洞知识。Crichton陷入了昏迷。

和平协议最终被签订了，Aeryn不分昼夜地守候在Crichton的身边，呼唤他，希望他醒来。Chiana陪Rygel回到了Hyneria王国，Rygel重登王位，Chiana也逐渐淡忘失去D'Argo的悲痛。Stark最终获得内心的平静之后，最后一次取下自己的面罩。Aeryn将婴儿放在Crichton身边，Crichton竟奇迹般醒来了。

因为"爱因斯坦"取走了Crichton大脑中的虫洞知识，Scorpius"精神克隆体"失去了继续存在的价值，终于死去了，而Scorpius也不打算再追捕他。

为了纪念亡友D'Argo，Crichton和Aeryn决定为自己的孩子起一个象征力量和勇气的名字－－"D'Argo Sun-Crichton"。Crichton将儿子举过头顶，面向浩瀚无垠、辉煌壮丽的星空。他大声宣布："这将是你的舞台！"

Moya穿越太空，带着这幸福的一家三口，飞向瑰丽不可名状的星辰深处！

结尾的话

我看美剧的历史并不长，而Farscape在我的美剧史上创造了好几个"第一"：它是我正式看过的第一部美剧（除电视台播放的外）；第一部科幻剧（除电视台播放的外）；第一部从头到尾完整观看的美剧；第一部与人进行讨论的美剧；第一部网上下载的美剧；第一部有制作字幕的想法的美剧；第一部令我感动的美剧……因此，我对Farscape还是很有感情的。当时我看的是RMVB版本第一季，中文配音（上海译制）的，后来又陆续从Supernova下载了余下的部分。我印象最深刻的是，在我下载完后的第二个月，Supernova就被迫关闭了（今天的Supernova应该和当年的同名网站没有关系，Mininova据说和它有一定渊源）。

全剧的结尾，看着Crichton和Aryen在甲板上弄儿为乐，Moya在绚烂的星空中飞向希望的明天，心情比较激动……不管整部剧（4季88集＋1部mini剧）的拍摄成败与否，总算是给人留下了深刻印象。本剧有不少可圈可点之处，有些集数构思极为大胆，不失为精品，但也有许多集数流于平庸，或者纯粹是澳洲式的文化说教，叫人昏昏欲睡。此外，Farscape是一部十足的"成人电视剧"，几乎每集都有十分"暧昧"的镜头出现，关于"性"的口头语或者实际行为在许多集数中普遍存在，这在以前的科幻剧中还比较少见。

一般来说，凡是两集连续或者三集连续（特别是后者）的那些集数都算是不错的作品，值得一看，特向大家推荐。

Farscape开创了科幻剧集里的多个"第一"，连续两年最佳科幻剧集的头衔可不是空穴来风的。

Part I

Crichton lies on a bed, his face bloodied and water dripping. It's dark; the camera pans around and Moya looks worse for wear, with sparks flying around. We hear Aeryn's voice. "You did it, John. All the fighting has stopped. There's no more dying. And all of a sudden, three is not such a scary number. But no matter how wonderful this is, I will not accept it as a trade off for losing you."

In space, near a ringed planet, is a fleet of Scarran ships. A squadron of Peacekeeper ships is on the assault, and destroys a Scarran Dreadnought.

Rygel is swimming around the bed of the see on Qujaga (see log Bad Timing), collecting crystals and swallowing them. After grabbing all he can find, he bobs his head up above water, and is hauled onto a boat by D'Argo. Noranti is also on board, along with two aliens who look like those who crystallised Crichton and Aeryn in Bad Timing. "So often I've proclaimed having a belly full of Crichton and Aeryn. Never thought it'd be so literal," Rygel says as he throws up. One of the aliens asks Noranti what they called their species, and she picks up a crystal, licks it, and says one is Crichton, a "hoo-man", and as she licks another clean she says it is Aeryn, a Sebacean. Rygel confirms to D'Argo he has all the pieces, saying he sifted the sand at the bottom with his bear hands. "Look at my nails!" he proclaims. One of the aliens says to the other, Caa'ta, that the Leviathan ship has returned and their transport is approaching. Caa'ta orders the concealment canopy lowered, and the ship and the transport approach an island which appears.

On Scorpius' Command Carrier, Braca tells him that they've received another communication from Peacekeeper Strategic Command; it's Grand Chancellor Maryk, again. Scorpius turns on his communicator, to an angry Maryk. "Where the hezmana in my orders did you find the phrase 'pre-emptive attack'?!" Scorpius keeps his head, as always, saying the Scarrans were amassing for an onslaught they all knew was coming, a conflict that they could not win. He says that by challenging them before they are prepared, they stand a fighting chance. Maryk is still not happy, saying Scorpius was sent there to gather surveillance. Scorpius rebuts his words. "With all due respect, sir, I was sent here to perish at the vanguard of this inevitable conflict. I simply refuse to participate on their terms, or yours!" Maryk says that because of his actions, the Scarran Empire has declared war against the Peacekeepers. "Do you know what that means, Scorpius?" he asks. "We are now officially engaged in the last war of our era! Congratulations."

Moya's transport lands on the surface, and D'Argo goes to greet them. Chiana leaps out into his arms. The Diagnosan gave her new eyes, so she can see again. Stark comes out of the pod, saying they found a Diagnosan, as it falls out of the transport behind him. "What's wrong with him?" D'Argo asks, and he's answered by a familiar face - Grunschlk (see log Season of Death). "There's nothing wrong with him, he's fine!" Grunschlk assures him. D'Argo says he though he was dead, but Grunschlk says hardly at all.

Inside a building, the Diagnosan is putting the crystals of Crichton and Aeryn into a device which has them floating around in mid-air, joining back together. Noranti tells him to be careful, as the crystals are people's lives. D'Argo says this had better work, to which Grunschlk replies they are lucky to have him. He says that Diagnosans are at a premium now that there's a war on. "What war?" D'Argo asks. Chiana tells him that the Peacekeepers and Scarrans declared war against each other. D'Argo asks if the Peacekeepers knew what they were getting in to, but Grunschlk says the Scarrans didn't give them much choice; they were already taking the galaxy by force, system by system.

In space, a Scarran vanguard has breached the Peacekeepers defences, and is assaulting Scorpius' Command Carrier. Sikozu says that they've drawn them in sufficiently; the trap is set. Over comms, Scorpius tells Braca to initiate the plan exactly as he instructed. Braca tells the pilots to turn of their navigation systems and fly manually from here. Sikozu tells him to fly straight in; their targeting telemetrics will be corrpupted by the ambient magnetics. Braca leads the attack on the head Scarran Dreadnought, but all Peacekeeper armada ships are talking heavy fire.

Back on the planet, Crichton and Aeryn are reconstituted in the same position they were last seen, still kissing. As D'Argo breathes a sigh of relief, the pair draw their pulse pistols. "Lower your weapons," Caa'ta orders. Crichton asks how long, and D'Argo informs him it's been sixty solar days. "Where?" asks Aeryn, to which Chiana replies they're still on the water planet. Caa'ta again tells them to put their weapons down, to which Crichton asks, "Bad guys?" "Yes and no," D'Argo replies, "They did help us put you back together." Chiana tells them they said it was an accident that Crichton and Aeryn were crystallised. "Last warning," Caa'ta insists. The pair hand over their pulse pistols, and as they walk away Crichton says to Aeryn, "You said yes!" "I did," she replies. He says they've had sixty days, and asks if she has any regrets. "No, it's going really well," she replies. "Hey, we're gonna get married!" Crichton shouts, to which Chiana and D'Argo say "Congratulations!"

On the Command Carrier, Braca tells Scorpius he was correct; their pilots and guns were no match for the Peacekeeper squad. Scorpius signals his silence, and tells them to prepare to withdraw. "What?" Braca asks in shock. Scorpius tells him that the rest of the armada is to continue to engage the enemy to cover their escape. "But sir, we're winning!" Braca tells him. Sikozu reaffirms that without this Carrier, the remaining units will be destroyed. Scorpius tells them they have their orders, and despite Braca's continued objection, he is adamant. "He is alive Sikozu," Scorpius says, lifting her onto one of the controls. "John Crichton is alive."

"One more time, begin again," Caa'ta tells Crichton. Crichton begins the story again. "Once upon a time, there was a boy named John. And John was an astronaut. He lived in a far away place called Earth, which is so far away, you've never heard of it. One day, when John was out doing astronaut things, a big blue wormhole gobbled him up and spat him out at the far end of the universe. Things were looking grim in mudville, till our hero met an amazing living ship, made some nice new friends, and he hooked up with his dream girl. We could've lived happily ever after, but the Peacekeepers raped, chased and tortured us for years on end. And two months ago, we got our asses shot off again. This time it was the Scarrans, big reptiles, oooh! And Moya, our living ship, limped her way to your happy planet for a little R&R, because, we figure, it's empty! Hey, no one is gonna bother us." We see Crichton and Aeryn in the boat, with Crichton proposing and Aeryn accepting. "Next thing me and the future Mrs Crichton are having a private moment when you guys fly by, boom bada-bing, squiggly line, squiggly line, crystallised. And it's two months later." But the aliens still look rather confused.

On Maryk's Command Carrier, one of his men tells him that Scorpius has powered down his homing beacon, so they have no way of tracking him. Maryk tells them to broadcast an order, highest priority. The Peacekeepers are to fire upon his Command Carrier the moment it's spotted, with no hailing, and no offer to surrender. He wants Scorpius and all that fly with him erased from existence. A heavily pregnant Commandant Grayza tells Maryk that Scorpius is many things, none of them good, but never a coward. Maryk says that he has initiated this war and then turned and run, asking her how she defines cowardess. She asks the Grand Chancellor to consider her counsel on this carefully, "Hatred of the Scarrans is Scorpius' sole consistent trait. There is something else." Maryk says that perhaps there is, but his orders stand.

The Diagnosan is examining Aeryn, while Crichton holds her hand and speaks to her. He tells her that they're done, they're checking out. "Next Ferengi we see, we run, no questions later. From this moment on, my one concern, my life, is you and our baby." The Diagnosan starts speaking, and Grunschlk translates, telling them that the Diagnosan doesn't know what they're talking about - there is no baby. As Crichton and Aeryn are shocked, Grunschlk says that if there was a baby before, it isn't there anymore. The Diagnosan says that Aeryn never was pregnant, but she is adamant that she was. Crichton has a thought, and says that they were in pieces, thousands of pieces. They go to D'Argo, who tells them that Rygel said he got every piece off of the ocean floor. When D'Argo says he carried the pieces up in his stomach, they quickly leave. With Rygel on the table, Grunschlk congratulates him on being pregnant. Aeryn and Crichton are not happy, but the baby is doing just fine. Rygel is less than pleased himself, and Crichton grabs hold of Grunschlk, telling him to take the baby out of Rygel and put it back in Aeryn. The Diagnosan won't do it, saying it can't come out until the end of the first quadmester. "First quadmester?" Rygel asks, "Get me a drink!"

Everyone is sitting around eating, and Chiana asks Rygel what it feels like to have the baby in his stomach. Noranti joins the group, and Aeryn asks Rygel what it really feels like to be pregnant. "Like having a parasite, a large parasite that's growing," he says. One of the local aliens comes over, but is not happy. Crichton asks what they did to piss off the locals, and D'Argo says they're paranoid. Stark tells them they're not paranoid, he's been talking to many of them, and they are ruled by fear, so much so that their fear extends to not talking about it. D'Argo says they shouldn't exacerbate it by staying longer, but Crichton says they don't want to fly into the Armageddon beyond the concealment canopy. D'Argo says he'll ask them to stay, but they won't be happy. In the meantime, Crichton says they'll get married.

On the lead Scarran ship, War Minister Ahkna tells Emperor Staleek that they've received a deep space comms from an unexpected source, with an unexpected message. It's about John Crichton. The sender knows his location, and says the Peacekeepers don't have them yet. Staleek says they will send a full battle contingent, not for one man, but the knowledge he possesses.

Crichton tells one of the lead aliens, Muoma, that it's generous of her to marry them. Caa'ta, who follows them, says their petititon to remain on the planet has been denied, and on conclusion of the ceremony they will all leave. Crichton asks who they're hiding from, to which Caa'ta replies, "Everyone." Stark shouts that Aeryn is coming, so Crichton gets everyone in position. Noranti comes around the corner, throwing petals in front of Aeryn, who has a flower in her hair. "You look great!" Crichton says. "You owe me!" she replies. "I know." Muoma asks if there's a particular invocation they'd like her to use, to which Crichton begins to recite "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here...", but they're interrupted by the Command Carrier flying low. Muoma is distressed that they seem to know exactly where they are, despite the concealment canopy, but Caa'ta says they've been betrayed. As the aliens all get inside their temple, Crichton tells Stark and Noranti to go with them and convince them it's not the crew's fault. Aeryn tells Chiana to hid Rygel and guard him with her life. A small ship leaves the Command Carrier. Stark and Noranti hurry into the temple, when Noranti spots something on the side, saying it's familiar. When she gets inside the temple, she realises that the aliens are Eidelons.

The ship from the Carrier lands on the surface, and Scorpius and Sikozu step out. Scorpius apologises if this is a bad time, but says they need to talk. He signals that he found Crichton using their mental link.

Crichton goes inside his head, where Harvey is dressed as Einstein. Crichton asks how Scorpius found him, to which Harvey says Scorpius is like god. "He does not play dice with the universe." He says that Scorpius' mysteries unravel slowly, but shows a wormhole, and then says in Crichton's case, the wormhole weapon. Crichton says he can find wormholes, navigate them even, but cannot make a wormhole weapon. Harvey says that is true, but he does know where to obtain the knowledge. John writes "Fuck off" on the board (obscured by Harvey), telling him to make sure Scorpius gets that message.

Scorpius asks Crichton how he's been, saying he has been busy. Scorpius says that the Scarrans will prevail in the war unless he helps them build a wormhole weapon. Crichton says that there's only two problems, that he can't do it and that he doesn't think the Peacekeepers are any better than the Scarrans. Scorpius says that he will find no serenity during this conflict, and tells Crichton to examine his choices. "You're not listening. Wormholes, no. Weapons, no. Killing, no. Crichton, no!" he replies.

Crichton is again in the same position, lying injured on a bed on Moya as at the beginning of the episode. We hear Crichton's voice. "You wanna see it? The thing you've been chasing my ass all over the universe for? Torturing me, my wife, my friends for? You wanna see it?" "Yes," replies Scorpius in the voice over. "Say please." "Please." "Pretty please," Crichton says. "Pretty please," Scorpius replies. "With cherries on top." "With a cherry on top," Scorpius says. "Happy birthday, now get out of my sight."

D'Argo returns to the planet, greeted by an erratic Stark, saying "Eidelons, Jool, Arnessk, peace!" He tongues Stark, and asks Noranti what he's talking about, btu she says the same thing. He asks Muoma, who tells him that they are the last Eidelons, as all others were hunted to extinction. Their ancestors possessed the means to influence peace, but it has not survived to their generation. Caa'ta says that thousands of cycles ago, their ancestors' temple was destroyed and they were all slaughtered. Muoma says that Arnessk was the centre of their spiritual power, where there was a temple upon which the building they are in was modelled. She says that today, Arnessk is lifeless, but D'Argo says they have been there.

From Moya, Pilot shows Noranti, Aeryn and Crichton the images of Arnessk that Jool gave them before they left (see log Resurrection). Noranti says that the ancient Eidelons were not dead as everyone assumed, but suspended in time, and when they reversed the device holding them, they came back into existence. She says that there's no doubt today's Eidelons are a direct descendent of the peace-making Eidelons of Arnessk. She says the anility to influence peace is latent in these Eidelons, and suggests that the ancient Eidelons could re-ignite this power in the current group.

Crichton asks Aeryn if he's going insane, because the crazy lady is starting to make sense. Aeryn says she thought they were finished, but Crichton says that it's because of Scorpius. If they run, he will find them before they wake up. "This is not our fight," Aeryn says. Crichton agrees, but says as long as there's a war everyone will be after him because he's the winner take all weapon guy. "You know every time we get involved..." Aeryn begins. "I know, people die," Crichton says. He asks Aeryn what the odds are of the Eidelon plan working, but she says not good. "Not good is the best odds we ever got," he replies.

The transport pod returns to Moya, where Muoma, D'Argo, Caa'ta and Pikal enter Pilot's den. Muoma asks if they will transport Pikal and Caa'ta to Arnessk for an introductory delegation. D'Argo says they could take many more, but Caa'ta says centuries of hiding do not die easily, and they remain sceptical of the crew's motives. Muoma says she knows that Pilot's and Leviathans are peaceful to a fault, so asks if the beings they ferry are trusted. Pilot says he trusts them implicitly, so Muoma entrusts Pikal and Caa'ta to his care.

Back on the surface, Grunschlk tells Aeryn that they will find the rest of the equipment they should need to remove the baby from Rygel on Moya, while Noranti takes a device from there. Aeryn says that the Diagnosan should go with them, but Grunschlk refuses. Noranti said the device is so elegantly designed that anyone could use it, and leaves the device with her. Aeryn asks where Noranti is going, and she says she knows more about the Eidelon's than they do themselves, so she will stay on the planet with them. Aeryn asks Grunschlk if she can do the procedure herself, but he says no.

Crichton returns to Moya to find Scorpius and Sikozu waiting. Scorpius says they were invited, and D'Argo says they need him. They are flying through Peacekeeper controlled space during a war and Scorpius is a Command Carrier officer. Scorpius says he was most recently in command of a full armada, and D'Argo says he knows all the passcodes, but will keep him away from Crichton. Crichton leaves, telling Scorpius that Aeryn and Rygel are off limits.

Crichton and D'Argo go onto Command, where Pilot tells he can get them to Arnessk by refining their position from Moya's databanks as they go, and also them they've received a transmission from the Royal Palace on Hyneria. It's Rygel's cousing, Bishaan, who overthrew his rule. Rygel asks what is happening, and Bishaan says that the Scarrans have already taken their outer territories. Millions are already dead, and Rygel is a direct descendant of the Royal lineage. If the Hynerians will unite under anyone, it would be him. Bishan tells Rygel that he must return. The transmission ends, and Rygel tells Aeryn that if Bishaan thinks he will return to a shared thrown, he is deluded. Aeryn tells him he is not going anywhere. Pilot tells everyone to prepare for starburst.

Stark enters the room where Chiana is with Pikal, and bows down. He tells Chiana that Eidelons are remarkable negotiators, though she says the Scarrans won't be reasoned with. Pikal says they will, and splits his head apart to reveal a third eye. Stark says it's an antenna to feelings. Pikal says that history leads them to believe it's substantially more, all while Chiana thinks it may have other uses. Pikal says they used to be able to create an energy field that allowed people to see reason, but Chiana says they can't do the trick anymore.

Rygel is sleeping, as Aeryn and Crichton look on. Crichton says they really need to get marred, now.

On his Command Carrier, Maryk is feeling Grayza's bump, saying the baby has a strong kick. He tells Grayza that they are outnumbered and outgunned, and their population has grown adverse to hardship. He says they've lost every battle since the start of the war. He seeks her opinion on a truce. She says the Scarrans would not accept a truce, only surrender. She says a surrender is only an option when all is lost, to which he asks what the signs are that all is lost. "A military leader that broaches surrender," is her answer.

Ahkna tells Staleek that Crichton has departed the water planet, and her contact has provided coordinates to their destination, where he seeks to end this conflict. She does not know if his plans involve a wormhole weapon, though says Scorpius travels with them. Staleek asks if the Leviathan is guarded, and Ahkna tells him it is not, but Peacekeepers guard the water planet. Staleek tells Ahkna to engage the enemy there, defeat them and subdue the unhabitants, while this Decimator will follow Crichton, to settle old scores.

Sikozu lights some candles with her finger, while D'Argo asks Crichton if he thinks the Eidelons can stop the war. Crichton says that if they can't, they have to find a new galaxy to live in. D'Argo implies that Crichton should use a wormhole weapon if it doesn't work, but he says he can't. Stark and Chiana bring Rygel to Command, where he is unhappy at the prospect of marrying Crichton and Aeryn. Aeryn pulls her gun on him, saying he is ruining her wedding. "Honey, you're pointing a gun at the baby," Crichton says. She puts it away, and Rygel begins his words. But as he reminisces of old times, Moya comes under attack from Tregans. Aeryn tells Rygel to hide, while everyone else prepares to stop the assault. Pilot says Moya is being pulled in by the Tregan ship. Scorpius says that he's counted at least seven three-man craft coming towards them. Sikozu says it will all be over in half an arn, while Crichton asks Scorpius if the Tregans work with the Peacekeepers. He takes with him, saying they'll try to convince them to leave, but if they fail, the others should have an outstanding plan b. Aeryn tells Sikozu and Chiana to find Pikal and Caa'ta and keep them safe. Stark says he can best help by staying out of their way, while Aeryn and D'Argo work together.

Scorpius tells Crichton it may not go as smoothly as he hoped, as his departure from Peacekeeper service was less than sanctioned. A Peacekeeper tells them to stay where they are, which prompts Scorpius to try and persuade them he is out there on special service to the Grand Chancellor. The accompanying Tregan Chief is less than willing to leave, saying their orders are to commandeer any ship not broadcasting a Peacekeeper ident. Scorpius says that would put their mission in jeopardy, but the Tregan says his mission is over. Scorpius asks who is in charge, who he should be addressing and who will take the blame. The Peacekeeper tells the Tregan to release the harpoons, and asks for Scorpius' command codes. The command codes fail, prompting a shootout in which Crichton uses Scorpius as a shield. He asks what Scorpius did, to which Scorpius replies he deserted his post. Crichton remarks that it's amazing what a man will do when he's in love.

As the shootout moves to Pilot's den, Crichton tells him to duck. Caa'ta tells a wandering Pikal to hide, as his mission is important. Chiana tells Sikozu of three opponents walking parallel to them; she can see through the walls with her new eyes. D'Argo and Aeryn hide behind some containers, and then shoot some Tregans. When some enemies attack Caa'ta, he is only partially successful, and falls himself.

In Pilot's den, Scorpius tells Crichton they need a release transmitter, which is over on the head Tregan. Crichton continues to fire, prompting Scorpius to say Crichton enjoys it. The Tregans are about to execute Pikal, when Sikozu and Chiana attack them.

D'Argo tells Aeryn she never struck him as the type who would want children, btu she says Crichton wants it so badly, so she does. D'Argo says she will come round when she sees the little guy in person. "I hope so," she replies. Chiana and Sikozu overcome the Tregans they were fighting.

Crichton makes a run for it, with Scorpius covering, but the enemies fall down Pilot's chamber. Pilot says there are no more Tregans aboard, but they are still being reeled in. Crichton says they can't release the harpoons because the transmitter went down, but Sikozu finds one on one of the Tregans they killed, and disengages the lines. Moya does an emergency starburst under fire from the Tregans. Aeryn finds Rygel, who successfully escaped. Pilot apologises for not detecting the Tregans, saying he was so preoccupied with other duties that they snuck up, but they have arrived at Arnessk.

The transport lands, and Crichton searches through the woods. He gets lost, but is being watched. When he finds the entrance to the temple, he's caught in a trap by a returning Jool. She pounces him and starts kissing him, saying the more they were apart the more she knew he'd realise he was meant to be with her. But Aeryn arrives on the scene, and Rygel tells Jool to get her own fantasy as they're having his baby.

In the ancient temple, Jool tells Crichton to show indifference and respect, and not to embarrass her. Crichton whistles, and it echoes around the temple. Hierarch Yondalao says the acoustics are to lead them in prayer, and Jool apologises for Crichton's behaviour. He ushers Pikal forward, as one who claims to be their descendants. Pikal says that his people have lost the ability but not the desire to influence peace. Yondalao says he shall confer with the other conciliators, and notify them when the matter can be reassessed. Scorpius says he told Crichton it was a waste of time. Jool says that she knows these travellers are honourable, and he knows her, so asks why he sends them away. Yondalao says he does not, he just requires time to examine the issue. Stark approaches, asking what there is to examine, as Pikal is an Eidelon like him. Yondalao says they have awakened from 12000 cycles of sleep, and asks what pertinence they can have to their galaxy now. When Stark grabs his robes at his feet, Yondalao calls out, "Peacekeepers, do your duty," and Aeryn drags him back. Aeryn asks to speak, and says they understand his reasons for caution, but asks what could be more pertinent in this time, or any, than the ability to inspire peace. Yondalao asks how, even if Pikal is Eidelon, how he can help that cause. Aeryn says that while they are few, Pikal's people are many and with their teachings, could become a great force for peace. Yondalao says that while her counsel is sound, he must still meditate upon it, and asks the Peacekeepers to clear the temple. Crichton walks forward, loading up his gun, and his test shot reflects around the temple. Yondalao asks if they are assassins, but Crichton says he's just the guy without a brain. He goes round, the room, points to Stark and says the lion needs courage, Scorpius, the tin-man, needs a heart, Rygel, Todo, wants an easy birth, and Pikal, Dorothy, is just looking for a way home. He says they won't be here tomorrow, so urges Yondalao to look at Pikal, as he is Yondalao's heir.

The Eidelons pray, as Yondalao asks if Pikal agrees to accept the great responsibility that the ability to inspire peace carries. Outside the temple, Aeryn tells Crichton it should work, and the Eidelons should be able to stop the war without wormholes. Rygel appears to ask if they can go back to Moya yet, buyt Aeryn tells him to go and get Stark. Crichton asks if it's just him, or is Rygel getting bigger. Aeryn says that it's a geometric pregnancy, which means that the baby will be born in a matter of solar days. A stunned Crichton says they don't have a name, but Aeryn says she's already picked one, and says something in Sebacean that's incomprehensible. Crichton says she made a joke, but she simply responds that soldiers don't have a sense of humour. As she walks away, Crichton says, "You better have my dinner ready when I get back on that ship now," to which she just raises her arm.

Aboard the Command Carrier, Maryk orders a retreat and regroup of one of their squadrons. When his Lieutenant asks how the Scarrans move so quickly and effectively, Maryk answers that they've been planning it for many cycles. He says he has a desire to turn it around... in due time. Grayza is looking on, but doesn't seem too satisfied with his answer.

Back on Moya, Aeryn is helping Pilot by verifying Moya's hull integrity. Sikozu joins her on Command, and Aeryn mentions that she is back so soon. She tells Sikozu to inform Scorpius that her opinion won't change if they keep asking; she believes peace is a better option than trying to build a wormhole weapon. "With all due respect, Aeryn," Sikozu says, "Crichton is your inferior, so why would you bear his child?" Aeryn says she should leave, off this ship. Sikozu says she didn't mean to offend her. She adds that when she first met Scorpius, she thought he was her inferior, but she has since learned there is a reservoir to his abilities that continues to overshadow her own. "Same with Crichton," Aeryn answers. Sikozu asks if she views Crichton as her superior. "No, as my equal," Aeryn replies, adding that perhaps Sikozu's under and over-estimations of herself are meaningless, that perhaps they're just meant to be together.

Scorpius tells Crichton that the Eidelons can only inflict peace when the combatants are near, adding that the Scarrans would destroy them before they get close enough to have any impact. Crichton says that in that case, he won't mind them doing there thing, but Scorpius says at the same time he should be making the weapons. Crichton says that's only a means to his end, and asks what Scorpius really wants. He says that peace achieved during conflict can last a lifetime. Scorpius suddenly hears something, and says he has a highly developed survival sense which is telling him to leave. Aeryn comms Crichton, telling him a Scarran warship is closing in on the planet at maximum speed. "Stryker or Dreadnought?" Crichton asks, to which Sikozu says it's neither; something much faster. "How much time we got?" Crichton asks, to which Aeryn replies, "More like how little." Crichton calls D'Argo, who is on his way to get them. Scorpius leaves, telling Crichton he is going to remove as much of their presence as possible, as the Scarrans will be hard enough on the Eidelons as it is. Crichton says not to worry, as they're taking them along.

Crichton tries to convince Yondalao that everyone has to go, but he says that is impossible. Crichton says they don't have time, and goes to get Pikal. Yondalao says Pikal is not ready to instruct others, but says he will accompany them to instruct the others. Crichton tells Jool she should come as well, but she says she can't, as she belongs here, and tells him to go. "You always made the best mistakes," he says.

On Moya, Stark tells Rygel this is not good, and Rygel, while examining the device to remove the baby, agrees, saying the device won't work. "Not you, them," Stark answers. Rygel says if he wants to worry about someone, to worry about him. Stark says the Eidelons, and starts mumbling about them dying in peace as he bangs his head against the wall in distress.

Crichton arrives on Command, where Pilot says the Scarrans are close enough to have targeted them, so Moya will not initiate starburst, as they'll be hit before she's fully powered up. Jool sends a transmission from the planet, addressing the Scarran vessel, saying the inhabitants of Arnessk are peaceful, and have no weapons and pose no threat. She asks if they wish to land. The Scarrans don't respond, and Crichton says he has a bad feeling. He speaks to Jool, who doesn't flinch so as to give nothing away. He tells her to get out of the temple, as the Scarrans launch a missile which goes straight past Moya, and decimates the temple on the planet in a huge explosion. The Scarrans hail Moya, saying the crew must surrender to the Imperial Forces, and non-compliance will result in the immediate annihilation of their ship. Moya attempts an emergency starburst, but the Scarrans fire and cripple her.

Aeryn drags Rygel onto the transport, where Crichton, Stark, Sikozu, Scorpius and Yondalao await. Chiana and D'Argo leave in D'Argo's ship, Lo'La, as D'Argo is sure they can't pierce the ship's invisibility shield. The two ships leave, with the transport heading for the Decimator. Rygel says that when the plan fails, he should be the first one to be rescued. He says to ask Aeryn, but she says to rescue Yondalao first, much to his surprise. Scorpius remarks that Yondalao is supposed to be rescuing them, and Yondalao says that the Scarrans are unfamiliar to him, so he must first sense their fears and desires through proximity.

The crew are taken to a holding cell aboard the Decimator, where Aeryn is forced to give up her concealed guns that are discovered by a security probe. Yondalao says that Stark lived amongst the Scarrans, so he knows their psyche, and asks Stark to assist him with that knowledge. Staleek and Ahkna enter the room, and the Emperor welcomes them to his flagship. "That was a temple you nuked down there," Crichton says. Staleek says it was an act of precaution, which is requisite in times of war, as is truth seeking. He turns to Aeryn and heat probes her, asking where the Luxan and Nebari that were travelling with the crew are. Aeryn says they're gone, and left well before they came. Ahkna approaches Rygel and strokes his belly, saying she always assumed his highness was male. "Tumor, not long to live," Rygel says. "I would agree," Ahkna replies, as Staleek tells her to take him to separate barracks, and tells Crichton and Aeryn he finds it troubling that Humans and Sebaceans can propagate together. Stark asks how he could know Rygel was pregnant with their child, to which Staleek says the same way he knew to find the crew here. "A traitor," Sikozu says, to which Scorpius says its Grunschlk. Staleek approaches Scorpius, saying they say one traitor can always recognise another. He adds that if Scorpius hadn't facilitated Crichton's earlier escape (see log La Bomba), there would be peace now. "With you as supreme ruler?" Scorpius asks. Staleek says it's a position he knows Scorpius dreams of, as he rips out Scorpius' coolant system. Staleek tells Crichton that he is alive for only one reason; he will have the wormhole knowledge Crichton possesses, or War Minister Ahkna will pleasure herself torturing the Hynerian and the abomination in his belly. He says Crichton has one arn to decide, and leaves. Aeryn asks Crichton for options, and they agree wormhole weapons are not an option but Crichton says he can give them the middle finger. "You don't know what you're doing," Aeryn tells him. "I never do," he replies.

On Lo'La, Chiana is looking at a scan of the ship, and identifies its weakpoints. D'Argo tells her that Rygel has invited them to Hyneria, and he thought he could do some work with his hands, plant some food and make some wine.

Crichton goes to Staleek, and says he can't give him wormhole weapons. Staleek says he'll die, but Crichton says while he doesn't have a kilo of pure wormhole technology, he can take Staleek to a guy that does, in exchange for an undamaged Rygel. Staleek probes him, but realises Crichton is immune to the probing. Crichton says it's because he always speaks the truth. Staleek stops, and Crichton says they will go in his module, down a wormhole to the source of ultimate power, but it only has room for him and one other. Ahkna says the Emperor will never go alone with him, but Staleek says no, and tells her to set a course for the battle group at the water planet. They will leave as soon as he returns.

Sikozu creates a makeshift coolant device for Scorpius, as Stark leaves Yondalao to think of how to tap into the Scarrans' morality. Yondalao tells Aeryn he will soon be able to influence the Scarrans' passions. Aeryn says that in the temple, he said "Peacekeepers, do your duty," and asks what he meant. "I had forgotten that you had forgotten," he replies. "At the dawn of our period of usefulness, 27000 cycles ago, we developed need of a guard. A race no one had quarrel with. A force to ensure harmony prevailed once negotiations had finished." "Peacekeepers," Aeryn remarks. "Apparently your forebears attempted to carry on once we vanished," Yondalao continues, "However, lacking our mediation abilities, they kept the peace the only way they could: at the muzzle of a weapon." Aeryn says that's why they're hated. "It wasn't such at the beginning. We took great care to choose a species no one had met before. We found your kind primitive, barely clothed, far removed on the galaxy's outer spiral. Having brought some of you back, your evolution was accelerated with generous alterations, until you became our trusted acolytes."

Ahkna is in a room where Rygel is tied to a table, and tells a Scarran nurse that while the Emperor wants Rygel alive, she would consider it a personal favour if he should die of explainable causes.

In Crichton's module, Staleek is growing weary of waiting. Harvey speaks to Crichton on a car crash test course, saying Crichton knows what he has to do. Harvey says he should just crash the module. Crichton says then everyone would die, asking if he thinks Ahkna would be a kindler, gentler soul, but Harvey says that is someone else's problem; Crichton would've done his duty. Staleek says that there is no wormhole here, but Crichton says it's just a little late.

Ahkna has Aeryn brought to her, saying she's been informed they plot escape. Aeryn says they are prisoners with no weapons, but Ahkna says they have none here, but perhaps outside. "I promise you, you will never be reunited with your baby," she says. Aeryn replies, "I'm sure your mother wished the same thing." "How brave you are," Ahkna says, before going to the throne and ordering the ordnance officer to fire. They repeatedly fire on Lo'La, and Aeryn says she can stop now; she's proved her point. Ahkna says that the Luxans are like Peacekeepers - soon to be enslaved or dead. She orders them to fire one more, and Lo'La is destroyed.

In the cell, Aeryn tells Yondalao that a Luxan can only survive in space for about a quarter of an arn. He is surprised by the Scarran brutality. Scorpius says that the Scarran blood running through his veins knows more than the Eidelon ever will, while Sikozu says there's only one path out of this prison, they must fight their way out.

A wormhole appears in front of Crichton's module, and Harvey continues to try to convince Crichton to fly into the wall of the wormhole. The travel through the wormhole continues, as Harvey and Crichton drive the test car into a wall. Staleek and Crichton arrive on Einstein's iceberg, where Einstein appears saying Crichton should not have brought him here. Staleek asks who the creature is. "You can call him Einstein, and I suggest you do it nicely." Staleek goes to probe him, but Einstein knocks his hand back. Crichton tells Staleek it won't work, and he asks Einstein if he possesses the knowledge of wormholes. Einstein confirms, so he asks if wormholes can be made into weapons. Again, Einstein confirms, and Staleek says he will give him that power. Crichton interrupts, saying he can find a wormhole and fly down one, to which Einstein agrees. He asks Einstein if he can make a weapon, which Einstein says he cannot. John asks why, and Einstein says because no one should have that power. Crichton tells Staleek that if you mess with the natural order, you destroy multiple timelines. Staleek pushes him aside and says he will have that power, but Einstein freezes him in time. Einstein tells Crichton that returning here was wrong, but he says he has to protect the people he loves, and Einstein owes him for putting the crap in his head. "It may soon be prudent to remove it," Einstein replies. He disappears, and Staleek becomes unstuck. He asks Crichton if he truly cannot create wormhole weapons, but Crichton says they should get back, before Rygel damages his wife.

Sikozu is trying to convince Aeryn that their best opportunity to escape is if Crichton walks through the doors. Aeryn refuses without her child. Crichton returns, saying he saw wreckage on the outside. Aeryn says they killed Chiana and D'Argo. She tells him that Yondalao is not yet ready, but Crichton says Staleek is going to give them Rygel. Scorpius says he's traded ultimate power for an unborn offspring, but Crichton says no, saying he has nothing to give, so all the chasing round the galaxy, Chiana and D'Argo dying, has all been for nothing. Sikozu says they still have no way out, but Aeryn points out Yondalao, who is now emitting a purple glow.

The Scarran nurse is about to kill Rygel, but Staleek intervenes, asking whose orders override his. She says she had no choice, but Staleek kills her. He tells Rygel he will die when he orders it.

Staleek finds Ahkna, and angrily tells her that if the Hynerian had died his word would mean nothing. Ahkna says that given the Luxan ship she discovered, the presence of Scorpius, and the ability of these creatures to continually resist should mean they die for the Scarrans' security. Staleek points out that Scorpius was a Commander for the Peacekeepers, and Aeryn a former pilot, so says who knows how much information could be coerced from them. She says it's not worth the risk, but he tells her to stop seeing vipers in every shadow. He grabs her, and tells her aggressively to never countermand his orders again.

Chiana and D'Argo float in space, where they kiss, before she appears to lose consciousness.

Staleek returns Rygel to the crew, and says that his portion of the accord has been maintained, but beyond it he promises nothing. Yondalao approaches Staleek, saying he wishes power, acknowledgement of his personal intelligence, and to gain acceptance in the upper echelon of civilisation. He says there are many paths for Staleek to accomplish his aims. "War is out path. At the peace table we know how we're viewed; brutish, ignorant," Staleek says. Yondalao says then the greatest victory would be to prove them wrong, and without the loss of a single Scarran life.

On the Command Carrier, Maryk talks of Scorpius' obsession with Crichton, asking Grayza if she didn't tell him Crichton's weapon was a myth. Grayza says that was her belief, but this moment is not without opportunity. He says that knowing the Emperor's location allows them to negotiate a treaty before their position becomes so laughable. Grayza mixes something in his drink, and says it also gives them the opportunity to surprise the Scarran leader and decapitate his Empire. Maryk says he will not be remembered in history as the Commander under which Peacekeeperdom fell. He sips her drink, and falls to the floor. "No my love, you will not," Grayza tells him, "Because despite your station, you are weak. I say again that which I have said before. Death is preferable to subjugation under Scarran rule. They must be defeated."

Chiana and D'Argo awake aboard a Luxan ship, having been rescued by Jothee. He is now a Field Officer, in charge of the ship, and is greeted by a punch from his father. Chiana asks if they shouldn't be running, but Jothee says the Scarrans can't detect them. He says they've been following the Emperor for some time, and then there they were. He says they have to take the crown head out, and D'Argo shows them Chiana's method to penetrate the ship.

With Rygel laying beside them, Aeryn, Scorpius, Yondalao, Sikozu, Staleek and Crichton are sitting around talking and drinking. Stark collects the drinks from them. Yondalao asks Staleek to review the accord that he wishes them to agree to. Staleek says that at the core of the matter is the perception that Crichton can create wormhole weapons, and if he proposes an armistice to the Peacekeepers with Crichton by his side, they will assume he has bestowed a military edge upon them. Scorpius says the Grand Chancellor is no fool, and he would agree to peace. Staleek says he would propose an accord that favours the Scarrans in mining rights and trade balance, whilst allowing complete self-rule of all Peacekeeper territories. He adds that Crichton will be released upon the signing. The peace doesn't last long, though, as Ahkna kills Yondalao unexpectedly, asking Staleek if he really wishes to broker peace with an enemy he is certain to destroy. Staleek tells Yondalao to free his mind of a prayer, and leaves in anger.

Stark says Yondalao is passing over, and Crichton tells him to give him last rights. Stark refuses, but Crichton says he can take his gift and protect it. Stark is forced to pass him over by Crichton, Aeryn and Sikozu, and everyone is thrown back as he receives the knowledge. Rygel starts convulsing, and Aeryn says they will have to transfer the baby now. Before they can get the kit, gas begins to fill the room with gas that Scarrans use on specimens they wish to dissect while still alive. "You've ruined my life," Aeryn tells John. "I know."

We return to the scene of John in the bed on Moya. We hear Aeryn's voice, with a baby in the background. "This war is not your responsibility," she says. We hear Crichton, "How am I supposed to protect you from the Peacekeepers and the Scarrans and the Tregans and the lions and tigers and bears?" "This is what you want. This is what you want," Aeryn says. "No Aeryn, it is not what I want. It's just that fate keeps blocking all the exits and no matter what I do I just keep circling closer to the flame." A wormhole weapon briefly appears, devouring a ship.

Part II

Following a recap from Part One, gas continues to fill the room, as Rygel begins to convulse. Aeryn lifts Rygel up above the fumes, while Crichton asks if the gas is combustible. Scorpius says it is at high temperatures, to which Crichton asks Sikozu if she can ignite it. She says she can, but the fumes are scrambling her receptors. Crichton helps lift her to the ceiling, where she tells everyone to find cover, and rips a flameball from her hand, shooting it towards the exit, blowing it open (and taking out two Charrids in the process).

Staleek asks what the explosion was, as Ahkna and his crew hurry to figure it out.

On the Luxan ship, Jothee detects the explosion from the Decimator, and the ship makes itself visible, launching an attack on the vessel's weak spots.

Crichton and the others leave the room through the new hole, with Scorpius carrying Sikozu. Aeryn gathers some weapons from the Charrids, while Scorpius points out that more than weapons; they need a plan. Rygel is still worse for wear, and says they have to transfer the baby now. D'Argo comms in, to which Crichton asks how they are alive. D'Argo says it's a long story, but asks if they want a ride. Crichton is confused, since Lo'La was destroyed, but D'Argo says it'll be a big surprise. The Luxan ship breaks through the side of the Decimator, and the crew lead an attack, with Jothee telling Chiana to call Peacekeeper Command to confirm their coordinates.

Crichton is trying to transfer the baby to Aeryn, as Scorpius and Sikozu provide cover. Crichton says he has to hurry, as he's losing a pulse. Ahkna is making her way to their position, as they continue to hold off the Scarrans and Charrids. Aeryn begins jolting as Crichton continues the procedure, but when he asks if she's okay, she tells him, "I'm pregnant." They're happy, and kiss, but Sikozu and Scorpius are running out of ammunition. Stark starts spazzing about what is now in his head, as the Luxans appear below them. They try to shoot open a hatch, but it's no use. Aeryn says it's pulse resistant, so Scorpius removes his cooling rod and throws it on the hatch, burning a hole in it. Aeryn jumps down first, and gives D'Argo a kiss. "You look great," he tells her. "I'm pregnant again." Stark goes next, then Sikozu, then Rygel is thrown down. Crichton jumps down next, landing in front of Jothee. "Holy crap! It's good to see you, Jothee?" he says to D'Argo. Scorpius is last down, and the crew move out while continuing to fire.

Staleek tells his people to repair the ship immediately, as the Peacekeeper armada is sure to be on its way there.

Everyone makes it back on board the Luxan ship, though one of the soldiers is shot by a Scarran. "You guys are a mess!" Chiana says to them all. The ship detaches from the Decimator, and leaves. Crichton tells Jothee he's grown, while Aeryn asks D'Argo if this was a planned reunion, which is met with silence. Crichton asks if the Luxans have any backup out there, but Jothee says the Scarrans can't manoeuvre or fire, so they're good to go.

On the Decimator, Staleek turns to Ahkna as he hears that the Peacekeeper armada has been detected on the outer perimeter of the system, and Ahkna just bows her head in shame.

As Sikozu repairs Scorpius' coolant system on Moya, she asks when they will stop following Crichton and start to impose their agenda on him. "We already have," Scorpius answers, but Sikozu says he insists he can't build a wormhole weapon, Sciorpius replies, "Human insistence; nothing more than a futile attempt to avoid action they insist they will never take!" "He will help us?" Sikozu asks. "Never. But he will help Aeryn and his new child."

The Luxan ship leaves Moya, and D'Argo asks to speak to Jothee. He's not on the comms, though, he's still on Moya. D'Argo says that Chiana was the first person since Jothee's mother that he really cared about, and Jothee says he's glad D'Argo and Chiana are back together. D'Argo tells Jothee that trust takes time, and Jothee agrees.

Crichton sits in front of his chessboard, contemplating the wormhole weapon, as Aeryn lies pregnant on the bed. Stark is heavily distressed, and we hear his whimpers as Crichton goes to his module. He departs Moya, and Aeryn and D'Argo try to speak to him, but he turns off his comms, and flies into the wormhole that appears.

On the Command Carrier, the Peacekeepers are watching a transmission from Braca on the planet, saying they are no longer able to defend it from the Scarran vanguard. One of the officers tells Grayza that Grand Chancellor Maryk is dead, which she says is a great tragedy for their people, and tells him to arrange a ship-wide memorial service, then orders him to set course for Captain Braca's location. The officer says that High Command is sending the Vice-Chancellor. "Don't let the belly fool you, Lieutenant," Grayza tells him, making sure he remembers she's a Commandant, and so is the highest ranking officer in the battle group. She says to send apologies to the Vice-Chancellor for the extra distance he will have to travel.

Ahkna tells Staleek his assumption was correct; her spy informs her that the water planet is populated by a species called Eidelons. Staleek orders them to go all speed to the water planet, as Crichton is no longer their only threat. "Inform me when every single Eidelon is dead," he says menacingly.

Crichton returns to Einstein's iceberg. He calls Einstein, saying it's time. "Unlock the knowledge; I have to make peace," Crichton tells him. A familiar exchange takes place (see log Unrealized Reality).

"Time?" Einstein asks.

"Flies," Crichton responds.

"Time."

"Bandits."

"Time."

"Wounds all heals."
"Time."

"Rosemary and..."

"Time."

"Time ends," Crichton says, and Einstein reaches out his arm.

Crichton returns to Moya, where he's drowsy. Scorpius sees him in the corridor, and knows immediately that Crichton now possesses the knowledge of a wormhole weapon.

Harvey speaks to Crichton, with plans for a wormhole weapon. Crichton says he didn't get this for him, but Harvey says this project is for both of them, and points out a billboard proclaiming a Harvey & John's Constructions and Engineering bringing wormhole weapons to the stars this year.

Aeryn meets up with Crichton as he reaches their quarters, saying she didn't want him to go to Einstein. Crichton says she did, as everyone wanted to see the big wormhole weapon. Aeryn says she wanted to see the war ended through peace, but Crichton says that is unrealistic, and looks for his pen. "This is what you want, this is what you want," Aeryn says. "No, Aeryn, it is not what I want. It's just that fate keeps blocking all the exits and no matter what I do I just keep circling closer to the flame!" "Then pull back," Aeryn says, "This war is not your responsibility." Crichton says that she and the baby are his responsibility, and asks how he is supposed to protect them from everyone. He says that no gun is big enough. Aeryn says they still have Stark and the Eidelons, but Crichton says it's not enough, but his knowledge is. He says it will protect her and the baby. "Ah, but you see. You don't just protect me. We protect each other," Aeryn tells him. Aeryn suddenly feels a kick, and says she can really feel the baby alive inside of her.

Rygel is crying, as Chiana attempts to feed Stark, who is in an apparent trance. Jothee says he doesn't remember Rygel being like this. "Toad, what's with the water works?" Chiana asks. "I miss the baby," weeps Rygel. Stark softly says that Rygel is suffering withdrawal but will recover, and adds that he is quite fine.

Crichton shows Pilot some equations, saying he can't do it without his and Moya's help. But Pilot says he understands it will be used as a weapon, and it can kill tens of thousands. He asks if Crichton is capable of using it, and when Crichton says yes, Pilot says he doesn't know him as he thought. Crichton pulls out his pulse pistol, asking Pilot what you do if someone puts a gun to your head. "You defend yourself," he says. Pilot says no one has a weapon pointed to his head, which Crichton rebuts. Pilot says there are other options, but Crichton tells him to explain that to the tens of millions of people who will die in the meantime. Pilot asks if that's truly his concern, or if it's Aeryn and his unborn offspring he wishes to protect. Crichton says that's his family, adding that everything begins with family.

Moya exits starburst, and is immediately attacked by Scarrans. They are caught in the crossfire,

Scorpius破坏了Crichton的逃跑计划，Staleek于是将Moya的船员们置于"保护"警戒之下。当身边没有其他人时，Scorpius悄悄告诉众人，他"假装"是Scarran间谍，真正目的在于用虫洞武器彻底消灭Scarran种族。

Crichton死也不肯说出虫洞技术的关键，Scorpius不得不启用另一套方案来阻止Scarran的入侵。他认为Crystherium Utilia植入物能够大幅提高Scarran大脑的进化，也是Scarran领导阶层能够呼风唤雨的本质原因。

Scarran在Katratzi的秘密基地是整个星系中这种物质唯一的已知来源，摧毁了它就等于让Scarran的进化停滞数年。

Crichton不想帮助Scorpius执行他的计划，他甚至考虑接受和平卫士司令官Grayza早些时候作出的承诺，去她的指挥舰上接受庇护。很快，Scarran人解除了Crichton身上的核弹，打破了双方的僵局，Crichton别无选择，只有与Scorpius合作。

4x22 坏日子
4x22 Bad Timing

安全返回Moya后，船员们发现Scorpius与Braca的指挥舰取得了联系。惊恐之余，他们将Scorpius和为他求情的Sikozu一起绑起来扔进了太空，然后用"星爆"逃跑了。

救起两人后，Braca将截获的Scarran基地的通讯内容传送给Crichton－－原来Scarran人正计划通过一个虫洞入侵地球。他们对地球的兴趣源于Crichton的一句戏言，结果Scarran皇帝Staleek却真的认为地球上存在能够促进Scarran大脑进化的Crystherium花。

Crichton寝食难安，疯狂地研究着大脑中的虫洞知识，希望能令虫洞坍塌。他想出了一个理论上可行的方法，但是他作为"原始人类"的物理限制使他无法精确地驾驶Farscape号太空舱掌握正确的时间。

所有人中仅有飞行员可以驾驶飞船进入虫洞，然后在精确到毫秒级的时间段上引起身后的虫洞坍塌，但是Moya对虫洞飞行充满了恐惧。看起来地球已经没救了－－但是飞行员最后承认，他可以在紧急情况下暂时脱离Moya，驾驶一艘运输船去设定的地点。

尽管分离操作可能令Moya和飞行员同时丧命，但他们义无反顾地答应了，于是D'Argo和Noranti一同将飞行员从底座上切开。Scarran攻击飞船越来越近了，飞行员、Crichton开始了危险的虫洞之旅。Aeryn担心Crichton不能够成功，不愿意与他生死相隔，决定一起参与行动。三人成功穿越了虫洞，Crichton回到了地球，见到了父亲。他向父亲道别－－这一次，将是他们真正的生离死别。

Scarran飞船进入了虫洞的另一端，飞行员则在地球这一端跟着进入。虫洞在他的身后不断崩溃，前往地球的虫洞之路终于永远地封闭了。

Moya来到肥沃的Qujaga海洋上休养生息，船员们只好暂时乘坐小船外出散心。Crichton正式向Aeryn求婚，Aeryn潸然泪下，点头应允。她随后告诉Crichton，他就是孩子的父亲。

两人紧紧拥抱，沉醉在幸福之中。正在此时，一艘飞船突然迫近并开火，在D'Argo, Chiana 和 Rygel 恐惧的目光中，Crichton和Aeryn化为了碎片……

4x21 La Bomba

After Scorpius sabotages Crichton's escape plan, Staleek places Moya's crew under "protective" guard. Once alone, Scorpius reveals he's only pretending to be a Scarran spy, claiming his real agenda is the destruction of the Scarrans, using wormhole technology as the means.

As Crichton won't give up his wormhole knowledge, Scorpius has had to formulate a different plan to halt the Scarran invasion. He explains that the plant Crystherium Utilia promotes Scarran brain development, and so is essential to the existence of the Scarran Ruling Caste.

The Scarran base at Katratzi is the only known source in this sector of the galaxy, and destroying it would put a halt to Scarran advancement for many cycles.

Crichton has no interest in helping Scorpius with his plans, and seeks to accept Commandant Grayza's earlier offer of protection and escape aboard her Command Carrier, but is prevented by hundreds of weapons trained on the Carrier. Then, when the Scarrans disarm Crichton's nuclear bomb and break the stalemate, Crichton has no option but to follow Scorpius' plan.

Crichton, Aeryn, D'Argo, Chiana, Scorpius and Sikozu enter the Rabrokator, a drilling elevator, while Rygel and Noranti go in search of Stark. Once down in the Crystherium cavern, Crichton and the crew are unable to destroy the flowers, and are trapped by Scarran guards. They are saved when Sikozu reveals her true position as a genetically modified member of the Kalish underground, able to emit radiation lethal to Scarrans.

Meanwhile, Grayza is preparing to fire upon Katratzi in a last, fatal, gesture of honour, but is prevented by Braca, who relieves her of command in order to save his crew.

The crew members pile back into the lift, and drill their way to the surface, but are pinned down by enemy fire. Seeing only one way out, Crichton bows to Scorpius' plan and drops his rearmed nuclear bomb down the shaft, back into the cavern. The resulting explosion causes enough carnage for them all to escape.

Back on board Moya, the crew, now including Stark once again, celebrate, but Crichton feels less upbeat, berating himself for the lives he took.

4x22 Bad Timing（Series Final）

Safely back on Moya, the crew is horrified to discover that Scorpius has made contact with Captain Braca's Command Carrier. In response they strand both him and Sikozu, who pleads for him, in deep space, knowing they'll be picked up by Braca once Moya has Starbursted away.

In return, Braca reveals to Crichton the details of a transmission intercepted from the Scarran base, indicating that the Scarrans intend to invade Earth via a wormhole. Their interest in Earth is due to an innocent remark by Crichton, revealing to Emperor Staleek that a flower essential to Scarran brain development grows there.

Crichton feverishly studies his wormhole equations to find a way to collapse the wormhole, finally solving the problem theoretically. However, his primitive human reflexes prevent him from piloting his Module accurately enough for the split-second timing that will be required.

Only Pilot is capable of flying a ship into the wormhole at just the right millisecond to cause it to collapse behind them, but Moya is more afraid than ever of wormhole travel. It looks like there's no hope of saving Earth - until Pilot confesses that he could detach himself from Moya and steer a Transport Pod on the desired course.

Though the operation could prove fatal, Moya and Pilot volunteer, and D'Argo and Noranti begin cutting Pilot free. With the Scarran attack ship fast approaching, Pilot, Crichton, and Aeryn, who refuses to be separated from Crichton in case he doesn't make it back, make the perilous journey through the wormhole to Earth. There, Crichton takes a moment to say goodbye to his father - knowing full well it's for the last time.

As the Scarrans enter from one side of the wormhole, Pilot plunges in, causing it to collapse around him. The wormhole route back to Earth forever sealed, Moya recuperates in the nutrient rich seas of Qujaga. Out in a makeshift rowboat, Crichton proposes marriage to Aeryn, who gratefully accepts - after revealing that her child's pregnancy has been activated and that the baby is his.

The two embrace in happiness, but as D'Argo, Chiana and Rygel watch in horror a craft sweeps over, and blasts the two into tiny shards.

4x19 Fetal Attraction

Moya的船员们来到Scarran边境检查站，囚禁Aeryn的飞船正在此检修。Scorpius假扮Scarran舰长，Crichton、Rygel和Chiana则扮作替他工作的间谍。Sikozu发现那艘飞船即将在半个导航周期（即地球上的小时）内起航前往秘密基地Katratzi，他们没有时间来策划营救行动。

为了阻止那艘飞船离开，Rygel假装自己得了一种Hynerian人常见的致命传染病－－dermaphollica，迫使医疗官员Trayso不得不暂时关闭整个检查站，禁止一切飞船进出。当Trayso正在怀疑疾病的真实性，Noranti发挥自己的医学专长，竟真的让Rygel染上了这种疾病。正当她努力要制造解药，这种致命疾病开始在一些无辜的旁观者身上发作。

Scarran飞船上，恶毒的护士Vreena不停地给Aeryn注射镇静剂。Crichton假装自己想要和Vreena巫山云雨，成功混入了飞船内部，但是在靠近Aeryn之前，Scarran将他赶出了舱外。

Sikozu计划切断检查站的动力，这样实施营救就会方便得多。此时，Jenek担心Aeryn也受到病毒的感染，抓住了Noranti，带她来检查Aeryn。

船员们来到了Scarran秘密基地Katratzi，打算阻止Scarran从Scorpius身上获取虫洞的信息。此时，和平卫士司令官Grayza和Scarran皇帝Staleek正在进行一场和平谈判，双方为了自己的利益都不肯让步，谈判几近破裂。Crichton将一枚核弹绑在自己身上，威胁众人说一旦自己受到伤害，核弹就会爆炸。他声明自己来这里出售虫洞技术，价高者得之。事实上，他想通过这种方式来争取一些时间，让其他人能救出Scorpius，或在他意识崩溃之前杀了他，以免虫洞技术遭到泄露。

这个基地也是Kalish技术人员和Charrid战士的家，他们都替Scarran人卖命。两个种族历来相互敌视，于是Moya的船员们抓住这个机会，在双方之间挑起矛盾，希望能让混乱的局面给他们解救Scorpius带来便利。而另一方面，Scarran已经秘密开始研究解除Crichton身上核弹的方法。

4x19 Fetal Attraction

Moya's crew arrives at a Scarran Border Station, where the freighter holding Aeryn is docked for inspection. Scorpius masquerades as a Scarran Captain with Crichton, Rygel, and Chiana as spies working for him. Sikozu discovers that Aeryn's ship is due to leave for Katratzi, a Scarran base, in barely half an arn - insufficient time to stage a rescue.

To keep the freighter at the station, Rygel feigns symptoms of the deadly disease known as Hynerian dermaphollica, forcing Trayso, the Kalish medical officer, to impose a lockdown. When Trayso starts to doubt the authenticity of the disease, Noranti poses as a medical expert and gives Rygel the real thing. As she races to concoct a cure for it, innocent bystanders succumb to the ravages of the deadly disease.

On board the freighter, Aeryn is kept under sedation by the sadistic nurse, Vreena. Crichton manages to infiltrate the freighter by pretending to want sex with Vreena, but is thrown out before he can rescue Aeryn.

Sikozu plans to cut the power on the station so that a rescue can be mounted. Meanwhile, Jenek captures Noranti and brings her in to examine Aeryn, concerned that she may succumb to dermaphollica.

As the rescue plan gets underway, Jenek decides to secure the safety of Aeryn's foetus by transplanting it into Chiana, who is immune because she's a Nebari. Noranti tries to stall, but the operation is about to go ahead when the lights go out and Crichton bursts in.

Aeryn is rescued, and all escape back to Moya, bar Scorpius, who is captured by the Scarrans. The crew would be happy to leave him behind, but for Harvey, who reappears in Crichton's head and convinces him he must return for the half-breed.

4x20 Hot to Katratzi

The crew travels to Katratzi, a secret Scarran base, to stop the Scarrans from extracting wormhole information from Scorpius. They arrive during critical peace negotiations between Commandant Grayza and the Scarran Emperor, Staleek.
Crichton wears a nuclear bomb, rigged to explode should he come to any harm. He claims to have come to the base to sell wormhole knowledge to the highest bidder, hoping this will buy time for him to devise a plan to either rescue Scorpius - or kill him before he breaks.

The base itself is home to both Kalish technicians and Charrid soldiers working for the Scarrans. There is a historical antipathy between them, and Moya's crew pits them against each other, trying to create a confrontation as diversion for them to spirit Scorpius out of Scarran hands. The Scarrans, meanwhile, begin working out a way to disable Crichton's bomb.

Ahkna, the Scarran War Minister, continues her torture of Scorpius, and brings in an unexpected ally to assist - the Banik, Stark. Ahkna believes that by extracting Scorpius's secrets she will increase her standing in the Scarran Empire.

However, neither Crichton nor Ahkna are truly aware of the extent of Scorpius' duplicity. Crichton soon learns the hard way; when his rescue attempt is just about to succeed, Scorpius sabotages it, revealing himself to be a Scarran spy.

4x17 A Constellation of Doubt

Sikozu搜索着和Katratzi星球有关的一切线索，但是找不到Aeryn的下落。

飞行员向Crichton提供了一段影像纪录，这是他们访问地球时Crichton的侄子Bobby拍摄的。片中除了有Moya上这些外星人的镜头外，心理学家、社会学家、牧师们也各自发表了对外星人的不同看法。尽管讲解员表达了积极而肯定的态度，但是人们普遍对外星人的存在表示担心。特别是当Aeryn认为地球容易被怀有敌意的外星人征服时，引起一片哗然。D'Argo那长长的舌头，也让人们觉得恐怖。Chiana在片中倒是显得很释然，而Crichton自己正受到手术后综合症的折磨。

片中也谈到了Aeryn和Crichton之间的关系，一些评论员认为人类和外星人的混血将是非常恐怖的事情。

看到Crichton看得太投入，其他的船员们想让他停下来，但是并不成功。正如纪录片所揭示的一样，Crichton对于地球在没有准备好的情况下与外星人接触感到越来越没有信心。

4x18 祈祷
4x18 Prayer

Aeryn被囚禁在一艘Scarran飞船上，负责看管她的Scarran统领Jenek冷血而富有野心。Jenek带着Sebacean护士Vreena一起审问Aeryn，给她服用Scarran折磨犯人常用的强力药物。

发现Aeryn怀有身孕后，Scarran人决定找出孩子的父亲。Aeryn为了避免牵连到Crichton，只好说出了离开Moya后所发生的事情，她说自己在那段时间里有了新的情人。

此时，和Scorpius达成协议的Crichton回到了在虚拟空间里所遇到的虚幻的Moya上。Crichton认为在这个"版本"的Moya上的Sikozu／Stark知道Scarran的秘密基地Katratzi。

在Crichton离开后，真实世界里的Moya探测到一艘指挥舰正在接近。经过激烈争论，船员们决定原地不动，做好伪装，等待Crichton归来。

通过虫洞，Crichton找到了虚拟的Moya和她的船员，但是无法得到有用的信息－－除非有人作出牺牲。

在Scarran飞船上，Aeryn见到了一位被囚禁了很多年的孕妇。Scarran一次又一次拿她做实验，希望从她的受孕中继承和增强她这个种族的遗传特性。这一次的实验又失败了，Jenek当着Aeryn的面杀死了Morrock未出生的孩子，Aeryn惊恐万分。

在虚拟的Moya上，Scorpius杀死了一名船员，但这不管用，因为只有杀死Aeryn／Chiana才是正确的选择。在最后关头，Crichton和Scorpius回到了正常空间，Moya从指挥舰面前逃脱了。

在Scarran飞船上，Aeryn用自己最后一点毅力发现了Morrock原来是一名Scarran间谍。在杀死她后，Aeryn被Scarran投入监狱，他们将飞往秘密基地Katratzi－－在那里，Aeryn未出生的孩子将被医生取走。

4x17 A Constellation of Doubt

Sikozu checks her contacts for any clue as to the location of Katratzi, where Aeryn has been taken, but without success. Meanwhile, John watches a documentary on the aliens' visit to Earth, intercepted by Pilot.

The documentary consists of talking heads and video footage of the aliens, shot by John's nephew Bobby. Psychologists, sociologists, priests and others all give their opinion of the aliens' characters, and whether they present a threat.

While some commentators are positive about the aliens, there is much in the broadcast which disturbs John. The documentary contains strong reactions to Aeryn's revelation that Earth could easily be taken over by hostile aliens, and horror at D'Argo's tongue. Chiana is dismissed as deeply troubled, and John as suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome.

There is also speculation about whether Aeryn and John are having a relationship in the programme, and some commentators make xenophobic comments about human-alien hybrids.

The rest of Moya's crew try to stop him watching the programme, but with no luck. As the documentary unfurls, John becomes more and more depressed at Earth's unreadiness for contact with aliens.

Racking his brain, he realises he has heard the name Katratzi before. He asks Chiana where they heard it, saying she was there at the time, but she has no idea.

On the documentary, the presenter welcomes the Sheriff that Moya's crew ran into in 1986 (in Kansas). Now half-mad, the Sheriff does clearly have evidence of the aliens' earlier visit - evidence that the presenter takes as proof that there has been a cover-up.

Sikozu comes to John's room, and is nearly shot by him when she will not admit that she knows anything about Katratzi. Suddenly an image on the TV screen makes John realise why he remembers the word - Stark/Sikozu said it in one of the unrealised realities John visited via the wormhole.

Storming to Pilot, John asks him to set a course to the wormhole leading to Earth. Pilot and D'Argo agree to do so. John then visits Scorpius, and tells him he will swap the wormhole knowledge for his help.

4x18 Prayer

Aeryn is being held captive aboard a Scarran freighter captained by Jenek, a ruthless and ambitious Scarran of the Ruling Order. Along with a traitorous Sebacean nurse, Vreena, Jenek questions Aeryn, using powerful drugs and Scarran heat torture.

After discovering that Aeryn is pregnant, they want to know the identity of the father. Aeryn is able to resist only by recounting stories of her time away from Moya - apparently spent with other lovers.

Meanwhile, having made a deal with Scorpius, Crichton travels back to the mixed-up version of Moya that he visited in Unrealized Reality. Crichton believes that Sikozu/Stark on this alternate-Moya knows the location of the secret Scarran base called Katratzi.

Back on normal Moya, a Command Carrier appears in the distance. The crew decide, with much argument, to hold their ground and try to disguise themselves, although some think that they should starburst immediately.

Through the wormhole, Crichton finds the alternate Moya and her crew, but he and Scorpius cannot extract the information they need from Sikozu/Stark unless she is crossing someone over to the next life.

On the Scarran freighter, Aeryn meets Morrock, a pregnant woman who has been imprisoned there for cycles. The Scarrans have been impregnating her over and over again, hoping to harness and enhance the unique traits of her species in her offspring. Jenek kills Morrock's unborn child while Aeryn watches in horror.

Morrock assures Aeryn that hoping for rescue is futile, but Aeryn is determined to protect her unborn child. At first she withstands the Scarrans' relentless drugging and torture. Finally, though, she confesses that her only true love is John Crichton - the father of her unborn child.

On alternate-Moya, Scorpius cold-bloodedly kills one of Sikozu/Stark's crewmates, but discovers she can only cross over those she loves - forcing John into a decision to kill alternate-Moya's Aeryn/Chiana. It works, and they return to normal Moya in time to escape the Command Carrier.

On the Scarran freighter, Aeryn gives a final display of her tenacity by forcing Morrock to admit she is a Scarran spy and killing her. She is then thrown into a cell to await arrival at Katratzi, where surgeons are awaiting to remove her unborn child.

4x16 Bringing Home the Beacon

Moya上的女人们结伴前往一个位于已死亡Leviathan飞船上的贸易空间站，替Moya购买新的传感器干扰装置。

当Aeryn和Sikozu四处转悠时，猛然发现Grayza和Braca带着一队和平卫士突击队员出现在空间站里。两人随即藏了起来，不多久，另一艘飞船抵达，上面的乘客是Scarran的代表。

双方随后举行了一场秘密会议，Grayza打算和Scarran达成一项和平协议，她自己将从中获得巨大利益，代价是将Luxan人的版图划归Scarran所有。正当Grayza准备签署协议时，Aeryn决定刺杀她。但就在此时，Scarran突然发难，杀死了和平卫士突击队员，将Grayza和Braca绑作人质。

而另一边，为了躲避和平卫士的搜捕，Noranti和Chiana通过基因修改的方式改变了自己的种族和外表。他们路遇Aeryn和Sikozu，这两个人正准备不惜一切代价杀死Grayza。如果不这么做，Scarran就会知道和平卫士并没有通过Grayza掌握虫洞技术，他们将毫无顾忌地发动一场全面战争。

Chiana返回运输舱，其他人则击退了守卫Grayza的卫兵，不情愿地将Grayza和Braca救下。当他们逃跑时，Aeryn留下来断后。Grayza欺骗了Sikozu，带着Braca偷偷溜走了。

Aeryn在最后一刻摆脱了追兵，四个女人返回了Moya。当一艘Scarran无畏战舰出现时，飞行员立即指挥Moya通过"星爆"逃入了超空间。但是他们并没能跑远，无畏舰在后面穷追不舍。原来Aeryn身上被放置了一个信号发生器。

为了保证其他人的安全，Crichton决定和Aeryn一起离开，但是当Crichton问及Aeryn腹中的婴儿是否安然无恙时，Aeryn表示自己听不懂。Crichton立即明白整个Aeryn都是假的，于是向她开枪。事实证明，这个Aeryn不过是个生物复制品。

传感器干扰装置被安好了，成功骗过了无畏舰。众人这才明白逃走的Grayza也是个复制品，真的Grayza已经在Scarran手中。D'Argo向Crichton承诺，他们一定会找到Aeryn。

4x15 Mental as Anything

D'Argo, Rygel, Scorpius and John visit a mental arts training camp to obtain information from the leader, Katoya. One of the other trainees turns out to be Macton, the Peacekeeper who killed D'Argo's wife Lo'lann, his sister, and framed him for the crime. He accuses D'Argo of beating Lo'lann to death. D'Argo vows to kill him.

Scopius loses a mental duel with Katoya. Outside, John runs into Macton, who claims that D'Argo killed Lo'lann in a fit of blackout-causing hyper-rage. Whilst Rygel takes on a Charrid in the arena, John asks D'Argo whether these blackouts happen. A flashback shows him raging at Lo'lann, and he admits they do. John decides to leave when he is prevented from helping Rygel.

D'Argo does badly in the arena because he is unable to control his rage at Macton. A flashback shows him pleading with Lo'lann to tell him if he ever hurts her. Meanwhile, John wakes up in a tiny cell over a pit of burning coals - remedial training. Katoya tells him he can come out when he can catch a key - but each one falls into the coals. Scorpius appears, and tells John that he is undergoing anti-Scarran training - training Scorpius himself has undergone.

After meeting Macton once more, D'Argo begins to wonder if he did really hurt Lo'lann. He asks Katoya to help him find out. Using the arena, he relives a burst of hyper-rage, and realises that he did hurt Lo'lann, but she hid it from him. Suddenly, Katoya disappears from the arena, Macton taking his place.

Macton shows D'Argo his version of events, in which the Luxan beat Lo'lann until she killed herself. Driven to hyper-rage, D'Argo becomes helpless, but manages to use the training Katoya gave him to regain control. He forces Macton to show the truth - that he killed his own sister, then beat the corpse to frame D'Argo.

John finally wrests a key from the bed of coals and escapes. On the way back to Moya, Scorpius tells him that the creature they encountered on Earth may have revealed its location to Grayza.

4x16 Bringing Home the Beacon

The women on Moya head down to a trading station on a derelict Leviathan to buy a sensor distorter for Moya. While it's being customised, they have four arns to kill.

Wandering through the station, Aeryn and Sikozu are shocked to see Grayza and Braca, with a squad of Peacekeeper commandos. As they hide, another ship arrives - carrying a Scarran delegation.

They follow the two groups to a clandestine meeting, at which it becomes clear that Grayza is prepared to strike a deal with the Scarrans in return for peace - and her own advancement. The price is the handing over of the Luxan territories to the Scarrans. As Grayza signs a treaty, Aeryn prepares to assassinate her. Before she can, the Scarrans turns on the Peacekeepers, killing the commandos and taking Grayza and Braca prisoner.

Meanwhile, Noranti and Chiana have hidden themselves from the Peacekeepers by having full genetic modifications - changing their species and DNA. They meet up with Aeryn and Sikozu, who are attempting to reach Grayza to kill her. If they do not, the Scarrans will learn that the Peacekeepers don't control wormhole technology from her - the only thing preventing them from an all-out attack.

Chiana returns to the transport pod, and the rest of the group defeat the guards around Grayza. They are forced to rescue her and Braca by Graza's threats of a patrolling Peacekeeper Command Carrier. Aeryn holds off the Scarrans while the others escape. On the way to the pod, Grayza tricks Sikozu, and she and Braca make a break for it.

Aeryn returns to the pod in the nick of time, and the four women return to Moya. Pilot immediately starbursts as a Scarran Dreadnaught is in pursuit, but they travel only a short distance and the Dreadnaught remains on their tail. The ship and the girls are checked for a homing beacon.

John and Aeryn decide to leave together so that the others are safe, but when John asks if the baby will be all right, Aeryn doesn't understand. John realises she is the beacon, and shoots her, to reveal a bionoid replica.

The sensor distorter is installed and fools the Dreadnaught. Moya's crew realise that the Grayza that escaped was also a replica, and the real one is in Scarran custody. D'Argo assures John that they will search for Aeryn, and find her.

回到Moya，Crichton遇见了父亲Jack。Jack对过去的种种记忆表明，他的确是真正的Jack Crichton（而不是古人的化身）。在Jack的劝说下，Moya全体船员再次来到了地球。所有的外星人都受到了优待，只不过科学家们对他们的身体和所拥有的科技进行了小心细致的检查。John见到了自己阔别已久的家人、同事，还有昔日恋人Caroline。

但很快，Crichton和父亲发生了矛盾。父亲现在是国际空中安全协会（IASA）的项目负责人，主要从事地外文明的研究工作。Crichton希望将所有的外星科技与地球上全体国家共同分享，但父亲认为应该由美国独享，并提到了了9月11日发生的悲剧（挑战者号爆炸）。

Aeryn无法适应地球的生活，决定回到Moya。临行前，她问Crichton是否希望她留下来。Crichton叫Aeryn自己决定，这显然不是Aeryn想要的答案。Aeryn用自己的巡航飞船带着Jack领略太空美景，期间Jack语重心长地对Aeryn说，自己的儿子依然对她有感觉。

此时，Grayza 派来的Skreeth间谍悄悄在船上监视着Crichton，并通过Braca用心灵感应回报给Grayza。随后，它也溜到地球上，杀死了Crichton的好友DK、DK的妻子及一个守卫。

D'Argo、Chiana和Crichton共同出席了一场IASA举办的宴会。在会上，Jack宣布他已改变主意，支持儿子分享外星科技的决定。在回家的路上，Skreeth悄悄上了父子俩的车。

回到家里，Crichton发现Aeryn正准备返回Moya，两人再次发生激烈争吵。就在此时，Skreeth发动了攻击。千钧一发之际，发现DK已死的D'Argo驾驶自己的飞船赶了过来，用Lo'la大炮杀死了Skreeth。

Crichton决定返回太空。他告诉父亲，有些事情自己不能不管。

4x14 再次害羞
4x14 Twice Shy

一群商人卖给Moya的船员们一张最新的星际图，还得意地亮出他们最后的商品：一个年轻的女奴隶。Chiana坚持要买下这个叫Talikaa的姑娘。

兴高采烈的Crichton和冷冰冰的Aeryn正在讨论他们之间的关系。两人不欢而散后，Aeryn来到Chiana的休息舱，正遇见她和Talikaa在接吻。看Aeryn心情不好，Chiana劝说了几句，然后答应替她和Crichton好好谈谈。Aeryn表情木然，不置可否。与此同时，Rygel偷偷告诉D'Argo，他在交易中欺骗了那群商人。D'Argo对此很生气，但Rygel却洋洋自得地说，每个人都欠他钱。

Scorpius来找Crichton，告诉他船上每个人的行为都很古怪。于是Crichton和Aeryn去抓Talikaa，却被一阵震耳欲聋的尖叫声击倒在地。一只巨大的蜘蛛在他们昏迷的时候咬伤了他们。

两人在痛苦中醒来，迫不及待地去警告Chiana, D'Argo 和 Rygel，但为时已晚－－Talikaa化身的蜘蛛也攻击了他们。Sikozu被她撕成了碎片，但Noranti和Scorpius将Sikozu重新组合到了一起。

所有被蜘蛛袭击过的人逐渐意识到，他们每个人最大的遗传特征都被偷走了。那艘商船又出现了，但是船上满是尸体。船上的录像显示，Talikaa是一种Walaxian巨型蜘蛛，她可以吸收人类的情感基元，导致人类死亡。如果要想活命，就必须找到她的老巢，从记忆之球中取回他们失去的东西。

当众人寻找巢穴之时，商船突然开动了。众人认为Talikaa就在这艘船上，于是分头行动，留下Crichton一个人。但商船不过是处于自动驾驶模式，Talikaa仍然在Moya上。Noranti于是利用Scorpius当作诱饵，吸引Talikaa前来攻击。Sikozu跟随Talikaa找到了巢穴，在Crichton的帮助下，将Talikaa彻底消灭。

事件结束后，Aeryn责怪Crichton该为他们之间破裂的关系负责。Crichton最终道出了埋藏于心底的话：如果Scorpius知道自己还关心Aeryn，就会利用Aeryn来逼迫他说出虫洞的秘密。

他们冰释前嫌，紧紧地拥吻。

4x13 Terra Firma

Arriving back on Moya, Crichton is confronted by his father. Shared memories convince him that this is the real Jack Crichton, and he and Moya's crew return to Earth with him.

On Earth the aliens are well treated, whilst they and their technology is examined by scientists. John catches up with his family, workmates, and old flame Caroline.

John soon clashes with his father - now appointed the official IASA Project Director for Extraterrestrial Studies - when he insists the alien technological knowledge be shared between all nations. Jack Crichton instead feels that the US should keep it for itself, citing the September 11th disaster as a reason why the country needs to be careful.

On a trip back to Moya, Aeryn asks John if he'd rather she stayed there. He tells her to make her own decision, an answer she doesn't like. She takes Jack for a spin around Saturn in her prowler, during which he tells her that John does have feelings for her.

Meanwhile, the Skreeth alien Grayza left on board is spying on John, reporting back to Grayza by telepathically taking control of Braca. It smuggles itself back to Earth, killing John's friend DK, his wife and a guard.

D'Argo, Chiana and John attend an IASA do, at which Jack Crichton announces that he has changed his mind and will support John's plans to share the alien technology. As he and John leave, heading for home and a Christmas Eve dinner, the Skreeth hitches a ride on their car.

Back home they find Aeryn, who is just about to leave for Moya. As she and John have an intense discussion, the Skreeth attacks. After a tense fight, it is destroyed by the cannon on D'Argo's ship Lo'la - the Luxan having come to the rescue after finding DK's body.

John decides to head back into space, telling his father he has a job to do. On board Moya, Aeryn confronts Noranti about the emotion-deadening laka essence she has been giving John.

4x14 Twice Shy

After selling the crew of Moya some up-to-date maps of tormented space, a group of traders offer one last item - a young girl they've enslaved.

Chiana insists the girl, Talikaa, is bought. In apparent terror, she runs, touching person after person until Chiana takes her away.

An upbeat John and cold Aeryn discuss their relationship. Aeryn leaves, arriving at Chiana's chamber in time to interrupt her kissing Talikaa. Chiana makes an advance to the unresponsive Aeryn, then leaves looking for John. Meanwhile, Rygel reveals to D'Argo that he cheated the traders. This throws D'Argo into a rage, but Rygel simply gloats and accuses everyone of owing him money.

Scorpius visits John, who is fending off Chiana's advances, and alerts him to the fact that everyone is acting oddly. John and Aeryn try to hunt down Talikaa, but are floored by an earsplitting scream. A huge spider bites them as they lay unconscious.

Waking feeling awful, they warn Chiana, D'Argo and Rygel, but it is too late - Talikaa attacks them in spider form too. Sikozu is ripped to pieces when she surprises her, but Noranti and Scorpuis piece her back together.

The spider victims realise that the strongest trait has been stolen from each of them. The trader ship returns, but is full of corpses. On board, a recording tells them that Talika is a Walaxian Arachnid, and sucks emotional essences from people, fatally. To survive, they must find her nest, where memory orbs that will restore them are stored.

As they search, the trader ship takes off again. Believing Talikaa to be aboard, they follow, leaving John behind. The ship is on autopilot though, and Talikaa still on Moya. There, Noranti uses Scorpius as bait to attract Talikaa. Sikozu follows her to her nest, backed up by John, who manages to blow Talikaa up.

Afterwards, Aeryn bitterly blames John for the end of their relationship. John disables the coms and explains that Scorpius will use her to get to him if he knows he still cares. They kiss.

当Crichton在Moya外执行飞行任务时，被突然出现的虫洞所吞没。醒来之后，他发现自己身处一座奇怪的冰山中央。一个穿黑衣、没有眼睛的男人想要杀Crichton，Crichton下意识地向后退去……时光回溯，他被传送回刚刚登上Moya的那一天。

当D'Argo一拳将Crichton打晕后，Crichton又回到了冰山上。黑衣人缓缓说出了自己的来意－－他是个古人。由于Crichton已掌握虫洞技术，而且越来越多充满侵略性的种族为了得到这个秘密到处捉拿Crichton，因此Crichton的存在对古人来说极其危险。

Crichton再次时光回溯，Moya在燃烧，Aeryn变成了Chiana。回到冰山后，Crichton的手中依然留着一束Aeryn－Chiana的头发，这说明他刚刚经历的一切并不是幻想。古人告诉他，在时空间中存在许多"虚幻的真实（unrealized realities）"，是虫洞将它们连到了一起。

又一次时光回溯后，古人警告Crichton说，如果Crichton返回正常时空间的时间点早于他离开时的时间点，将对历史产生未知的巨大改变。为了让Crichton更清楚地了解这个事实，古人将他送到了一个平行宇宙。在那里，Scarran已经统治了地球，Moya上的船员全都改换了种族，而Crichton也成了和平卫士的走狗。

Crichton意识到自己的父亲心意已决，只好使出下策。他绑架了少年时代的"自己"，伪造了一起事故，让父亲不得不放弃"挑战者"号的飞行任务来救"自己"。Noranti调制了一种药剂来令小Crichton陷入昏迷，Crichton则前往"小Crichton"最喜欢去的地方实施"绑架"。Chiana出现后，一脚踢开了"小Crichton"的女朋友，将"小Crichton"哄骗到自己身边。

回到藏身地之后，Chiana不停地和"小Crichton"说话，Noranti则配好了她的迷药。"小Crichton"喝下迷药的同时，碍事的警察杀了个回马枪，被Aeryn和D'Argo堵在了门外。"小Crichton"似乎对Noranti的迷药有不良反应，一度停止了呼吸，"大Crichton"因此成了隐形人。

4x11 Unrealized Reality

John is sucked into a wormhole whilst floating outside Moya, and finds himself on a strange iceberg at its centre. There he is faced by an eyeless man in black, who attempts to kill him. Backing away, John finds himself transported back to the day he arrived on Moya.

Just as D'Argo tongues him into unconsciousness, he is dragged back to the iceberg, where the man in black reveals himself to be an Ancient. As faces from John's past flash by, the man explains that John's possession of wormhole knowledge makes him a danger to the Ancients, especially as more aggressive species are now chasing him in search of the wormhole secrets.

John then finds himself transported to a burning Moya, where Aeryn has somehow become Chiana. Returning to the iceberg, strands of Aeryn-Chiana's hair still in his hand convince him that what he experienced was not an illusion. The Ancient explains that there are many 'unrealized realities' out there, connected by wormholes.

After another jump back to the past, the Ancient warns John that if he should re-enter normal space at a time earlier than he left, he could dramatically change history as he knows it. To underline this, John then finds himself transported to a world where he is working for the Peacekeepers.

As the iceberg-universe collapses around them, the Ancient tells John he must find his own way back to Moya - but must be very careful. Two quick, desperate jaunts to a Scarran-dominated Earth and a mixed-up Moya on which all her crew have changed species and John is a Peacekeeper plant convince him of the need for caution. Finally, he leaps down the wormhole, knowing that whereever he lands may become the permanent reality.

Exiting the wormhole, John calls for Pilot, but there is no answer. Looking around, he sees why: Earth is spinning below him.

4x12 Kansas

Floating helplessly above Earth, to his relief John gets a com from Moya. D'Argo, Aeryn, Chiana and Rygel follow his signal through the wormhole and pick him up, but a radio broadcast reveals that they have arrived in the mid-1980s - over a decade too early.

Arriving back at his family home, John soon realises how his presence has upset the timeline when he discovers that his father is due to fly on the Challenger - just before the space shuttle disaster. He must prevent this or history will be changed.

The aliens hide out in an abandoned house while John tries to persuade his teenage self to prevent his dad from leaving. Meanwhile, Chiana slips out to have some fun, and a neighbour calls the police after seeing Rygel. Only Noranti's hallucinogenic dust prevents the officer who arrives from taking action.

John, realising that his dad will not be persuaded, decides to kidnap his younger self and fake an accident so that his father will have to rescue him and will not leave on Challenger. Noranti brews up a concoction that will put young-John into a coma. John goes to pick up his earlier self from a favourite spot. Chiana appears and knocks out young-John's girlfriend, promising to deal with young-John if old-John looks after the girlfriend.

Returning to the house, Chiana keeps young-John occupied whilst Noranti finishes her coma-juice by taking his virginity. As young-John drinks the coma-juice, the police arrive once more, and are knocked out by Aeryn and D'Argo. Young-John has a bad reaction to Noranti's medicine, and stops breathing, causing old-John to become invisible.

Young-John is brought back from the brink by Noranti, but old-John remains ghostly, and sets off to convince his father to come and rescue young-John. He tells his mother where to find his younger self - as she runs off in panic, he becomes solid once more. Back at the house, D'Argo sets charges to make it look as if there's a fire.

Jack Crichton arrives, runs into the smoking house, but knocks himself out once inside. D'Argo and John rescue him and young-John. Mission accomplished, John and the aliens leave. Out in space, they follow Pilot's signal through the wormhole back to their own time, and land safely on Moya. On board, John finds a welcome party - four humans, including his dad. Unnerved, he pulls a gun on them and asks his dad - "Was it a bass, or a trout?"

4x09 A Prefect Murder

此时，奇怪的幻觉诱使Aeryn失去控制，不由自主地刺杀了Gaahshah。Aeryn逃跑后，Zerbat带着Crichton和Sikozu一路寻迹追来。Aeryn偷偷告诉Crichton，自己对此毫无印象。一个古怪的本地牧师Paroos随后现身说，Gaahsah并不是第一个被奇怪刺杀的部族首领。Aeryn痛苦地回忆着，想要弄明白自己为什么会去杀人。她突然记起曾被一只虫子咬过一口，但这个星球上并没有虫子。

Crichton也被咬了，杀死Paroos的情景电光石火一般闪过他的脑海。他立刻意识到E'Alet应该是始作俑者，这些能改变思维的虫子一定是他带来的。

4x10 来自蛤肉的政变
4x10 Coup by Clam

来到Khurtanan家族星球的船员们美美地享用了一顿Quatal（一种软体动物）大餐，但随后众人的身体立刻起了巨大的物理变化。每一个船员都和另一个产生了身体连接－－Crichton和Sikozu，Aeryn和Rygel，D'Argo和Noranti。

众人请来Tumii医生帮忙，却不料就是此人故意在他们的食物中下了毒。他要求船员们支付高额的费用才肯医治，否则将任他们死去。

Chiana和Scorpius仍然待在船上，一个Khurtanan机械师正在给Moya安装过滤器。

Crichton等人付了钱，Tumii掏出一个小瓶子，但那点分量只够医好D'Argo和Noranti两人。Tumii保证，他很快会带来更多的药。不幸的是，一个女人突然出现并朝Tumii开枪。

虽然只受了一点小伤，但Tumii却说自己不可能再为其他人治疗了。这个女人来自Khurtanan女性解放运动，她们正策划一场政变，只有她们才有这种解药。她们的总部就位于一个"娱乐"俱乐部中。

Aeryn和Sikozu志愿前往俱乐部，设法购买这种"解药"。

Crichton和Rygel感觉到有些事情不对劲，于是偷偷扮做女人潜入俱乐部。Rygel弄到了想要的"解药"，但是Crichton找不到Aeryn和Sikozu。当毒液进入发作前的最后阶段时，Scorpius赶来吃掉了剩余的"解药"，将物理连接转移到自己的身上。

4x09 A Prefect Murder

John, D'Argo, Sikozu, Aeryn and Chiana land on a planet divided by generations of clan war. Chiana quickly upsets the local women enough to be banished. As D'Argo tries to smooth things over with Gaashah - a clan leader - John negotiates with the planet's Prefect for the others to be allowed to stay. As he leaves the Prefect's castle, E'Alet, an offworlder, threatens him.

Sent back to Moya in Aeryn's Prowler, Chiana manages to route around its controls and lands back on the planet, surprising Sikozu and Zerbat, Gaahshah's son, in the middle of a romantic tryst.

Meanwhile, after experiencing strange hallucinations, Aeryn is subliminally coerced into assassinating Gaahshah. She flees from the site, and is trailed by Zerbat, who drags John along for aid.

As Zerbat, with Sikozu, searches one trail, Aeryn appears and speaks to John. She has no memory of shooting anyone. A strange local priest, Paroos, then appears, and reveals that Gaahsah was not the first clan leader to have been assassinated in strange circumstances. Racking her memory for why she shot him, Aeryn remembers that an insect bit her - but there are no insects on the planet.

Crichton is then bitten too, and suddenly has flashes of shooting Paroos. They realise that an offworlder must be responsible for directing the mind-altering insects, so they all head off to the castle to confront E'Alet.

Reaching the castle, they find E'Alet and a blind Chiana, who has seen the insects swarm from his head at the Prefect's bidding. E'Alet uses his mental control, through the insects, to try to force John and Aeryn to shoot one another. Only the arrival of Zerbat and D'Argo prevents this.

Chiana explains what she saw, and Zerbat confronts the Prefect, accusing him of his father's murder. Rather than face justice, the Prefect jumps to his death. With peace restored, all return to Moya; Sikozu sadly as it means leaving her lover.

4x10 Coup by Clam

While in quarantine high above the patriarchal planet Khurtanan, the crew shares a meal of Quatal molluscs and immediately suffers a violent physical reaction. Each crew member becomes bodily linked to one of the others, Crichton to Sikozu, Aeryn to Rygel, and D'Argo to Noranti.

Doctor Tumii, brought on board to certify the crew free of 'space madness', reveals that he deliberately poisoned the crew, and demands a huge sum of money to cure them, or else they will die. Chiana and Scorpius remain on board to look after a Khurtanan mechanic who is fitting a filter into Moya, while the others visit the planet.

Once there, they hand over the money, seeing little other option. Tumii only has enough of the Quatal molluscs to heal D'Argo and Noranti, who return to Moya, but assures them that more will be delivered soon. Unfortunately, a woman turns up and shoots the Doctor instead.

Only mildly injured, the Doctor nonetheless says he will not now be able to cure the others. The woman was from Khurtanan's violent female liberation movement, who are planning a coup, and who are also the only source of the molluscs on the planet. Their headquarters are at a gentlemen's "entertainment" club.

As the only women present, Aeryn and Sikozu volunteer to go to the club and attempt to buy the molluscs. They are instead held captive so that they will die of the mollusc poisoning, as will those they are linked to.

Realising something is wrong, John and Rygel infiltrate the club dressed as women. Rygel obtains the molluscs, but John cannot find Aeryn and Sikozu, who are also needed for the cure. As the poisoning enters its last stages, help comes from Scorpius, who eats the leftover molluscs and thus links to the others, using his strength to buoy them up.

Throwing off his disguise, John blasts the club with pulse fire, and the four make their escape. On board Moya, the cure is a success. Chiana says goodbye to the mechanic - revealed as a woman in disguise, and Scorpius saves himself by vomiting up the mollusc remnants.

4x07 John－堂吉诃德
4x07 John Quixote

Crichton和Chiana飞回Moya的途中收到了D'Argo的通讯信号，他似乎和Scorpius又爆发了矛盾。当Crichton正在通话时，Chiana突然将他拽进了一个虚拟现实的游戏。

这是一个幻想式的游戏世界，游戏人物的化身竟然是Stark。他向两人描述了游戏规则，并说游戏关卡是根据另一位（已死去）Crichton的记忆设计的。Crichton发现自己无法离开这个虚幻世界，只好和Chiana开始进行游戏－－任务是获得公主的一个香吻！

游戏对手当中包括有Rygel外表的黑骑士，用搞笑的方式阻住了去路；一个奇怪的Delvian人，能让人陷入迷幻。D'Argo以邪恶巫师的形象出现了，手底下还有Hansel和Gretel两个"帮凶"。在Chiana失踪后，Crichton找到了公主Aeryn和他"魔鬼男友"Crais居住的地方。很快，他来到了游戏结束的地点。

回到真实世界的Crichton发现Scorpius已经逃出了牢房，控制了Moya，将Moya的船员个个击破，并用神经控制器控制了每个船员。除了将Scorpius拖进虚拟的游戏世界之外，Crichton和Chiana想不出其他办法来帮助同伴们摆脱精神控制。

但是事情和想象的不一样，当Crichton再次亲吻"公主"的时候，游戏并没有按规则结束……究竟他们能不能永远摆脱Scorpius？

4x08 我成了小不点
4x08 I Shrink Therefore I Am

在返回Moya的途中，Crichton和Noranti收到了飞行员发来的警告信息。Crichton偷偷溜回船上，发现一艘古怪的攻击飞船正附着在Moya的外壁上，而其他船员已被全副武装的赏金猎人挟持，他们逼船员们说出Crichton的下落。

暗中行动的Crichton被逃出牢笼的Scorpius发现了。外敌当前，他们只好暂时搁下私人恩怨。两人合力制服了一名入侵者，但敌人亮出了手里的王牌－－他们将所有船员缩小后，关进了位于自己身体里的囚室。他们警告Crichton，如果杀了他们，就等于杀了Crichton自己的朋友。

Scorpius被抓住了，赏金猎人头目Axikor这才露出了真面目：他是一个具有领导地位的Scarran人，将把所有的俘虏交给Scarran而不是和平卫士。Scorpius也被缩小了，和D'Argo关在一起，但他将最新获得的信息通过无线电通知了Crichton。

Crichton将Scarran的阴谋告诉其他赏金猎人，这些人愤怒地去和Axikor对质。Axikor转眼之间杀掉了他们，打算乘坐Aeryn的巡航飞船逃走。

当Crichton来到机库的时候，和手掌差不多大小的Aeryn跳上了1812号巡航飞船的背部，切断了飞船的起飞程序。Crichton和Axikor展开激战，最终Crichton将缩小后的Axikor踩死在脚下。

4x07 John Quixote

Crichton and Chiana are flying back to Moya in a transport pod when a transmission comes through from D'Argo concerning a problem with Scorpius. While Crichton is talking, Chiana mischievously pulls him into a virtual reality game against his will.

The two of them appear in a fantastic, though glitchy, game world where they are greeted by the game's Avatar, Stark. Laying down the ground rules, he explains that the level design is based on the other John Crichton's memories. Strangely unable to leave the game world, Crichton has no choice but to set off with Chiana, on a quest to Kiss the Princess.

They meet bizarre challenges such as a Rygel-shaped Black Knight barring the way with fiery farts and an odd Delvian figure who takes them for a psychedelic spin in a campervan. D'Argo appears as the Wicked Witch, keeping Hansel and Gretel under his thumb. With Chiana vanished, Crichton finds his way to a penthouse apartment where the beautiful Princess Aeryn resides with her Ogrish boyfriend Crais. He finally manages to locate a game exit.

Returning to the real world he finds that Scorpius has escaped his cell and taken over Moya. Ambushing the crew one by one, Scorpius uses a neural spike to bring them under his control. When only Crichton and Chiana are left, they realize that their only hope of overcoming Scorpius's mental control of the crew is to draw him into the game.

John is also dragged in, and is quickly in trouble as Scorpius takes control. He is saved when Aeryn drags him away, but realises something is wrong - he is still in the game. Heading back to the bizarre central game room, he rushes to kiss the Princess - but nothing happens.

Finally figuring out the point of the game, John returns to the Delvian, and with a slash of his sword reveals Zhaan trapped beneath. One kiss, and he and Chiana return to reality - with Scorpius still safely imprisoned.

4x08 I Shrink Therefore I Am

Whilst en route back to Moya, Crichton and Noranti are alerted to the presence of hostiles by a suspicious transmission from Pilot. Sending his Transport Pod crashing into a strange attack craft leeched to Moya's hull, Crichton uses the diversion to steal back on board. He finds his friends held by armoured bounty hunters, who torture their captives in an attempt to flush Crichton out.

Crichton hides himself, and is found by Scorpius - out of his cell and in hiding. They manage to liquidate one of the intruders by using serious firepower, but then the enemy show its trump card. After shrinking the other crew members and placing them into holding cells inside their own torsos, the bounty hunters transmit a warning - by killing us, you kill your friends.

When Scorpius is captured, head bounty hunter Axikor reveals his true motives: he is a Scarran of the 'ruling class' and intends to deliver the captives to his people, not to the Peacekeepers. Scorpius is then also shrunk and imprisoned with D'Argo, but is able to transmit his newly learnt information to Crichton.

Caught after a booby trap misfires, Crichton stalls the bounty hunteres by telling them about the Scarran plot. Confronted by his henchmen, Axikor summarily kills them all, then makes a break for Aeryn's Prowler.

As John arrives in the hangar bay, Aeryn, no bigger than a handspan, zooms past on 1812's back and disables the Prowler. After she is knocked to the ground, John takes on Axikor in a fight which sees both participants change size several times, ending when Crichton squishes the tiny Axikor under his boot.

4x05 誓言

Moya的船员们终于团聚了，Aeryn也回到了船上，但是Crichton的喜悦却被Scorpius的出现冲淡了。Aeryn告诉Crichton，她正遭受Heat Delirium的痛苦折磨。Scorpius给她穿上了一件冷冻服，暂时保住了她的性命。

突然，一艘巨大的Lukythian飞船向Moya急驰而来。Moya想通过"星爆"逃走，但并不成功。Lukythian飞船的船长Ullom声称Aeryn是刺杀Lukythian首相的凶手之一。作为报复，他们用Heat Delirium感染了Aeryn。如果Aeryn愿意说出幕后的主使人，他们将提供一剂解药。

Aeryn宁可死也不想说出任何情报，Crichton只好向Sikozu和Scorpius求助。为了证明自己并无恶意，Scorpius移除了Crichton大脑中的"精神克隆体"。Sikozu认为眼前这艘Lukythian飞船不过是经过放大的全息图像，而真正的Lukythian飞船只是很小的飞行器。

与此同时，Grayza正在自己的指挥舰上制定新的战略方针。和平卫士准备好了一枚用于摧毁Leviathan飞船的导弹原型。为了证明自己，Braca亲自驾驶一艘装载这种武器的巡航飞船向Moya飞来。幸运的是，一个为Scorpius工作的间谍在袭击发生之前警告了Moya。

Crichton和D'Argo带着Aeryn去和Ullom面谈。虽然他们制服了Ullom的船员，但是却找不到躲在全息图像中的Ullom本人。Crichton孤注一掷，以Aeryn为诱饵骗Ullom现身。然后利用Lukythian飞船的远程全息图像功能吸引Braca的导弹，成功躲过一劫。

Moya恢复了"星爆"的能力，船员们脱险了。但是表面的欢声笑语，并不能掩盖他们之间的种种矛盾。

4x06 自然选择
4x06 Natural Election

Crichton成功预言了出现在Moya附近的虫洞，让她躲过一劫。但是一株巨大的太空植物俘获了Moya，不仅让她的系统短路，还开始蚕食她的表皮。

D'Argo坚持要用Lo'La飞船上的加农炮来攻击附着在Moya体壁上的植物，而Noranti则用她非常规的手段研究着这株植物，发现D'Argo的策略会有严重后果。Noranti的警告来得太迟了，D'Argo的攻击将植物弄到了Moya体内，破坏更严重了。

船员们只好在Moya体内"剿杀"这株植物。Aeryn告诉Chiana，她怀孕了，但孩子的父亲可能不是Crichton。纸包不住火，闲话很快传开了。

飞行员在植物的干扰下陷入了昏迷。所幸的是，众人很快发现Scorpius的冷冻液似乎可以制止植物的生长。蓝色的"除草剂"做好了，Crichton和Aeryn来到空气净化室，准备将它散布到整个Moya，但事情并不顺利。

众人决定实施一次"有限燃烧"来根除植物，但突然醒来的飞行员断然否决了这个计划。最终Scorpius解决了这个难题。

Moya又一次安然无恙，船员们开始民主选举新的船长－－D'Argo当选了。

Aeryn和Crichton坐下来促膝长谈，他们发现两人之间已有了一道无法弥合的裂痕。

4x05 Promises

Moya is finally reunited with her crew. However, Crichton's excitement at seeing Aeryn back onboard the ship is instantly soured when Scorpius appears. In the throes of Heat Delirium, Aeryn tells John that Scorpius saved her life by fitting her with a coolant suit as a stopgap.

Suddenly, a giant Lukythian Ship rockets up to Moya, its mass preventing starburst. Its captain, Ullom, claims that Aeryn was one of a team of assassins who liquidated the Prime Lukythian. In retaliation she was infected with Heat Delirium. In exchange for the names of those who ordered the hit, he will provide the antidote to Aeryn's fatal illness.

Aeryn would rather die than reveal any information, so Crichton turns to Sikozu and Scorpius to find a loophole. To prove his good intentions, Scorpius removes his neural clone, 'Harvey', from Crichton's mind. Meanwhile, Sikozu explains her theory that the Lukythian ship's appearance is a hologram: the actual ship is a tiny craft, with few crew.

Meanwhile, on her Command Carrier, Grayza puts a new plan into action. The Peacekeepers have come up with a prototype Leviathan killing missile. To prove his leadership, Braca takes off in a Prowler equipped with the weapon, intent on taking out Moya for good. Fortunately for Crichton, a spy working for Scorpius forewarns Moya of the attack.

Crichton and D'Argo take Aeryn to meet with Ullom face to face, knocking out his crew, but being unable to find the real captain behind the holograms. They trick him into revealing himself by using Aeryn as bait, then use the capablities of his ship to decoy Braca's missile.

After starbursting to freedom, the crew start to relax, but it's clear that there are many issues still to be resolved between them.

4x06 Natural Election

Crichton correctly predicts the appearance of a wormhole near Moya, but the Leviathan is then almost immediately ensnared by a giant space plant that shorts out her systems and starts eating her skin.

D'Argo insists on a quick fire plan to blast the plant off Moya's hull with Lo'La's cannon. At the same time, Noranti uses her unorthodox methods to study the plant, revealing an error in D'Argo's tactics. Her warning comes too late, as D'Argo's ship fires upon the plant, sending it inside Moya and crippling her even further.

As the crew hunts down the plant on the inside, Aeryn reveals to Chiana not only her pregnancy, but the possibility that Crichton may not be the father. It isn't long before word spreads.

Pilot becomes riddled with the plant and slips into a coma, but a breakthrough comes when it is discovered that the material in Scorpy's cooling rods repels the plant. A mixture of the blue herbicide is made up, and Crichton and Aeryn brave the giant fans of the Atmosphere Scrubber Chamber to distribute the solution throughout the ship. Unfortunately, a sudden accident thwarts the attempt.

Meanwhile, Noranti discovers that the herbicidal element can also be found in Moya's conduits. The crew comes up with a plan to perform a dangerous 'controlled burn' of Moya, but Pilot's sudden reawakening disrupt the plan. Only the actions of Scorpius put it back on track.

With Moya safe once more, the crew elect a Captain for the ship - choosing D'Argo to lead them. A heart-to-heart chat between Aeryn and Crichton reveals a rift between them.

刚刚逃过老妇人的"追杀"，Crichton又遇到了准备置他于死地的Oo-nii。D'Argo和Sikozu及时赶到，说出了一个可以让所有人安全离开的计划。他们劝说Crichton"色诱"Grayza－－其实这正中Crichton下怀。

但是Sikozu不幸被Grayza抓住，坦白了一切，逃跑计划似乎已经流产。Crichton指责Grayza不讲信用，并嘲笑她只不过是Scorpius大阴谋中的一个傀儡。作为回应，Grayza当着Crichton的面处死了Scorpius。

在Chiana的帮助下，Crichton打败了Oo-nii，夺回了探针。Crichton、Chiana和Jool及时激活了所有的探针，逆转了所有的破坏。不仅如此，消失已久的Arnessk神庙重新出现了。

一切平静之后，所有人都准备离开。Jool留了下来，她决定帮助神庙中的牧师。

临行前，D'Argo向Jool道别。曾共度的那段快乐时光虽然短暂，但他们将永远铭记。

4x04 熔浆是个好玩艺
4x04 Lava's a Many Splendored Thing

在寻找Moya的过程中，船员们来到一个满是岩石的荒凉星球。虽然Noranti分发的"滋补剂"起了一定的作用，但船员们还是饿得发晕。Rygel无意中闯入了一个满是板条箱的洞穴，箱子上印着Tarkan自由战士的标记。D'Argo, Crichton 和 Noranti来到洞中，发现Rygel已经触动机关，被困在一团类似琥珀但是坚不可摧的物质里。而就在此时，洞穴的入口被封住了。

两个暴徒突然出现，向Crichton, D'Argo 和 Noranti 开火。Crichton, D'Argo 立刻开枪还击，但是两人的腰带释放出自动能量场，保护他们毫发无损。三人被迫撤退，Rygel则被他们带往洞穴深处去见Tarkan战士领袖Raa'Keel。

Crichton和D'Argo设下圈套，不仅抓住了来杀他们的暴徒，还获得了能量腰带。可是当他们杀入Raa'Keel的房间时，却被一团琥珀物质困住。Raa'Keel说他们并不是Tarkan自由战士，他们只是来偷东西的贼。

在地面上，Chiana和Sikozu手忙脚乱地想要启动D'Argo的飞船。在争吵中，她们打开了飞船的武器系统，将洞的入口炸了一个大洞。

Crichton和D'Argo制服了一名暴徒，但是被琥珀包裹的Rygel却掉进了一个岩浆坑。真正的Tarkan自由战士出现了，干掉了暴徒，打捞起Rygel。

4x03 What Was Lost Part 2: Resurrection

Surviving Granny's attempt on his life, Crichton is attacked by Oo-nii, who is convinced that Crichton intends to give the probes to Grayza. D'Argo and Sikozu arrive just in time, armed with a plan to get everyone off the planet. They convince Crichton to keep Grayza occupied - however he likes.

Sikozu seems to have thwarted the escape when she is brought before Grayza and confesses all. After witnessing her betrayal, Crichton accuses Grayza of being a mere puppet in Scorpius' master plan. In response, Grayza executes Scorpius in Crichton's presence.

Suddenly, the 'magnetic summer' kicks in, with conditions set to become deadly within arns. As planned, Rygel convinces the old pilot and Elack to crashland onto the Peackeeper ships - allowing Crichton and the others to flee the planet.

Crichton extricates himself from Grayza's clutches while Jool, Chiana and Noranti free themselves from their cell, with Sikozu's help. Everyone makes their way to D'Argo's ship, taking off just as Elack finishes his heroic death plunge.

Two Marauders are destroyed, but Grayza and Braca use the last to pursue D'Argo's ship. D'Argo manages to throw Grayza and Braca off the scent by firing off a satellite probe as a decoy, but his ship has been crippled by the explosion and is forced to return to Arnessk.

In the face of the worsening magnetics, the crew's only choice is to find and use the Darnaz probes to return the planet's atmosphere to its proper state.

Running into Oo-nii, Crichton learns that he and Instructor Vella had planned to sell the Darnaz Triangle as a weapon. Oo-nii then reveals his true strength and forces Crichton to disclose the last probe's location. Holding it, he leaps into the sea. Crichton is forced to follow, barely able to breathe, let alone fight this formidable foe.

With the help of Chiana, Oo-nii is defeated and the probe repossessed. With no time to spare, Crichton, Chiana and Jool manage to activate the probes, which reverse the damage they did so long ago. Not only that, but the lost temple of Arnessk reappears, having been somehow caught in time.

Saved, everyone leaves bar Jool, who stays to study and help the priests of the temple. She and D'Argo make up before they part for good.

4x04 Lava's a Many Splendored Thing

While seeking Moya, the crew lands on a barren, rocky planet, their stomachs turned by a "restorative" given out by Noranti. Rygel stumbles into a nearby cave full of crates marked with the symbols of the Tarkan Freedom Fighters. D'Argo, Crichton and Noranti enter the cave and see Rygel set off a trap which leaves him covered in an unbreakable amber-like substance. Simultaneously, the cave entrance seals up, dividing the crew.

Two goons appear and open fire, safe from answering fire due to their automatic energy shield belts. Crichton, D'Argo and Noranti beat a retreat, leaving Rygel to be taken into the depths of the cave.

Rygel comes face to face with Raa'Keel, the Tarkan leader, who sends men out to kill the intruders, but underestimates Crichton's wits. Laying an ambush, Crichton and D'Argo obtain two shield belts of their own and storm Raa'Keel's inner chamber. They are captured by a ring of amber traps. Raa'Keel reveals that he and his men are not Tarkan freedom fighters at all - they are here to steal from them.

On the surface above, Chiana and Sikozu work together to try to activate D'Argo's ship. Eventually, through luck, bickering, and bodily effluents, they power up Lo'La's weaponry and blow a huge hole in the blocked cave entrance. In the ensuing confusion, Crichton and D'Argo overpower one of their captors, but he drops the amber-encased Rygel into a lava pit.

Using his shield belt to protect him as he enters the lava pit, Crichton tries to recover Rygel, but is prevented by the return of Raa'Keel. As Rygel sinks, protected from the lava but suffocating in the amber, Crichton battles the lava-resistant Tarkan, and finally triumphs with Chiana's help.

Rygel is fished out, the real Tarkan freedom fighters arrive, and the crew are able to depart before they are poisoned by Noranti's restorative.

4x01 Crichton的反击

不久之后，另一艘充满敌意的Grudek飞船靠近了Elack，他们想要得到Elack体内价值不菲的稀有神经组织。为了彻底干掉碍事的Crichton和Sikozu，Grudek人放出了一条凶悍的Brindz猎犬。刚刚死里逃生的Crichton不甘心再次做命运的俘虏，他决定反击，并设下了埋伏。但是就在他等候时机之时，突然到来的Chiana和Rygel暴露了他的位置。

4x02 What Was Lost, Part 1: Sacrifice

4x01 Crichton Kicks

Stranded in space after Moya was swallowed by a wormhole, Crichton is picked up by an old, dying Leviathan called Elack. With only a decrepit old Pilot and a reprogrammed DRD for company, he works interminably on his wormhole equations until a small scout craft carrying an exotic female alien named Sikozu crashed his part.

Shortly afterwards, Elack is stormed by another ship, bearing Grudek mercenaries intent on harvesting the Leviathan's rare neural tissue

In order to flush out Crichton and Sikozu, the Grudeks release a Brindz Hound. After barely escaping with his life once, Crichton decides to fight back, setting up an ambush for the mercenaries. Whilst lying in wait, his position is given away by the unexpected arrival of Chiana and Rygel.

Crichton's reunion with his friends is quickly soured as Sikozu's loyalties become more suspect by the moment and the Brindz Hound continues to scour the ship. Finally, Crichton manages to flush the animal out into space, just as Elack powers down.

Crichton realises that the Grudeks have found the prized neural toubray flesh, and the death of the Leviathan will soon follow if he doesn't act quickly. As the Grudeks work in the neural cluster, Crichton and the others gear up for the final battle - a firefight where one wrong move will trigger the destruction of Elack.

4x02 What Was Lost, Part 1: Sacrifice

Crichton, Chiana, Rygel and Sikozu reach the planet of Arnessk - home to an archaeological site manned by Interions. They are joyfully reunited with Jool and D'Argo, who have been studying under renowned archaeologist Instructor Vella. On Arnessk, her word is law.

Vella explains that the planet was once the homeworld of an order of priests who by mysterious means maintained peace between Scarrans and Peacekeepers for five hundred generations. Three probes, called the Darnaz Triangle, disrupted this when they crashed to the ground and created a magnetic effect that now routinely makes the planet uninhabitable. Vella has found two of the Darnaz Probes, while one remains hidden.

Crichton seeks out the three-eyed old lady who was on board when Moya was swallowed by a wormhole. She is determined to prevent Vella from finding the final probe, and shows him a vision of Arnessk's Utopian past to convince him she is right. During this, Crichton sees the landing point of the third probe. Soon after, when Vella is murdered, the old lady becomes the prime suspect.

The site is further disrupted by the arrival of Peacekeeper forces led by Commandant Grayza who immediately capture everyone in sight. Grayza reveals her trump card of a drooling, catatonic Scorpius, completely under her control.

Grayza somehow compels Crichton to desire her totally, and he falls completely under her thrall, even when his friends are imprisoned. Crichton's life is further endangered when the old woman, convinced that he will reveal to Grayza the location of the probes, tries to kill him.

众人仔细寻找着指挥舰的弱点，希望有办法摧毁指挥舰但又不至于牺牲舰上5万条无辜生命。在Crais的请求下，D'Argo和Jool秘密从船上刚刚经过大修的地方下载高度机密的原料，而Chiana和Rygel研究着可能的损害程度和人员施救方案。

此时，准备返回Talyn的Crais被Scorpius的卫兵拦住了。Crais恍然大悟，除非自己出卖朋友，否则将永不可能与Talyn重聚。

3x22 艰难选择
3x22 Dog with Two Bones

指挥舰毁灭了，Crichton开始思念家乡。他想像着这个三年来一直期待的愿望得以实现：和船员们一起回家，特别是Aeryn。虽然这只是白日梦，但是船员们在指挥舰上救出来的一位外星老妇人给Crichton指点了迷津：Crichton只能在Aeryn和返回地球之间选择其一。

船员们正在计划着自己的将来：D'Argo想为妻子报仇雪恨；Rygel打算回去重夺王位；Jool要和自己的人民团聚；Chiana则希望到Nebari抵抗组织中寻找哥哥的下落。在分手之前，他们还有一个共同的任务：将Talyn的残骸运回Leviathan墓地，让他得以安息。但是他们遇到了一艘流氓Leviathan飞船，她宁愿杀死Moya，也不愿意让一艘像Talyn这种和平卫士混血Leviathan埋在Leviathan圣地。Rygel认为没有必要冒生命危险与她对抗，但是态度强硬的Moya决不让步。

当Moya飞进Leviathan墓地之后，Chiana和Jool帮助Moya解下了Talyn的残骸。Aeryn坐在自己的暗影战机中向敌对的Leviathan开火，吸引她的注意力，给D'argo争取时间。关键时刻，D'Argo用自己飞船上强大的火力彻底杀死了流氓Leviathan。

任务结束了，船员们分手的时刻到了。

Crichton作出了自己的决定：他要和Aeryn在一起。但是他万万没有想到，Aeryn并不想留下来。Crichton万般无奈，只好坐在自己冰冷的太空舱中启程离开。大脑中Scorpius的精神克隆体下意识地提醒了Crichton：Aeryn有自己的苦衷。Crichton正想回到Moya和Aeryn再好好谈谈，却眼睁睁看到Moya被一个虫洞所吞没。

Farscape飞行舱的燃料已经不多了，四周一个星球也没有，Crichton这一次真正到了山穷水尽、无路可逃的地步。

3x21 Into the Lion's Den PART II:Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

Threatened with the destruction of Earth and having failed in his attempts to sabotage Scorpius' wormhole project, Crichton realises that his only option is to destroy the Command Carrier. D'Argo, Chiana, Rygel and Jool decide to flee while they still can. No sooner have they reluctantly agreed to abandon ship when Crichton bursts in on their meeting and reveals his new plan. Surprisingly, it is Rygel - the only one of them who witnessed the horror of the Scarrans' use of wormhole technology - who convinces them to change their minds and agree to help Crichton.

Focused by this new goal, the crew, Crais included, try to figure out whether it's possible to destroy the Command Carrier without sacrificing the 50, 000 men, women and children on board. At Crais' request, D'Argo and Jool secretly download highly confidential material on the ship's most recent modifications and Chiana and Rygel do some investigating into the ship's damage and rescue procedures.

Meanwhile, Crais attempts to return to his work on the Leviathan Hybrid but is denied access by Guards carrying new orders from Scorpius. He realises then, that he will never be allowed to reunite with Talyn…unless he has something to trade. When Scorpius confronts Crichton with the crushing news that Crais has betrayed them and that the crew of Moya have been locked in a cell, it seems that all is lost

3x22 Dog with Two Bones

With the Command Carrier destroyed, Crichton now turns his thoughts toward home. He sees himself on Earth, experiencing what should be a perfect union of all his desires: home, shipmates, and especially Aeryn, all together. Except the fantasies keep going sour. With the help of a strange old alien woman rescued from the wreckage of the Command Carrier, Crichton realises that he must decide between his two dreams: Aeryn or the possibility of returning to Earth.

In real life, Crichton's shipmates are preparing to disband. D'Argo wants to avenge the murder of his wife at last. Rygel hopes to regain his throne, Jool to reunite with her people and Chiana's off to search for her brother in the Nebari Resistance. They only have one task remaining: laying Talyn's scant remains to rest in a Leviathan burial ground. But a Rogue Leviathan, crazed by the loss of her own offspring, is ready to kill Moya rather than let a Peacekeeper hybrid like Talyn be buried in the sacred place. Rygel argues that Talyn's physical remains aren't worth risking all their lives for. But Moya is adamant and the rest of the crew agrees with her.

As soon as Moya enters the burial ground, Chiana and Jool help Moya jettison Talyn's remains. Aeryn, in her Prowler, fires on the other Leviathan, distracting it, before D'Argo unleashes the power of his new ship, killing the Rogue. Their task complete, the crew solemnly realises they can finally go their separate ways.

Crichton has finally made his choice. He wants the girl. Only he hadn't taken into consideration Aeryn not wanting to stay. Forced to let her go, he finally says goodbye from the cold of his Module. When the Scorpy clone pierces his subconscious to reveal the real reason for Aeryn's departure, Crichton races back only to watch as Moya is… swallowed by a wormhole. Almost out of fuel and with no planet in sight, Crichton is sure that this time there is no escape.

3x19 你我之间
3x19 I-Yensch, You-Yensch

Rygel和D'Argo与Scorpius在一个孤立星球上进行谈判，他们提出的条件是：Crichton到Scorpius的指挥舰上协助他完成虫洞研究，但是Scorpius必须要签署命令赦免Moya、Talyn和其他所有船员。狡猾的Scorpius担心自己被欺骗，要求Crichton和自己的副官Braca一起戴上"I-Yensch"手镯，这玩意将两人的神经系统连在一起，如果一人受到伤害，另一人将感受到同样的痛苦。D'Argo和Rygel认为Scorpius应该亲自戴上第二只手镯，而不是Braca。但就在双方争执不下的时候，两个全副武装的疯子冲进了谈判地点。

此时，Talyn也遇上了麻烦。由于突发妄想症，Talyn开火机会了一艘装载有6000名无辜乘客的医疗飞船。虽然Talyn深为自责，但是Crais担心如果不想办法帮助Talyn，这种悲剧还会发生。他建议关闭Talyn，根除使他产生暴力倾向的生物制剂后，给他安装能够控制情绪的替代系统，然后再将其复活。Moya听到这个建议后反应很强烈－－这意味着要抹除Talyn的全部个性，将其恢复到"初生"时的精神状态。而情绪失控的Talyn竟然朝Moya开火。

PART I:Lambs to the Slaughter

在大脑中Scoupius精神复制体的帮助下，Crichton取得了真实Scorpius的信任，并宣布自己将帮助和平卫士击败Scarran。Scorpius让Crichton登陆自己的指挥舰，共同研究虫洞技术的终极奥秘。

由于拿到了外交豁免权，其他Moya的船员也登上了Scorpius的指挥舰。D'Argo和Rygel的要求得到了满足：D'Argo解除了颈环的控制，并拿到了有关Macton最新动向的文件；Rygel在Hyneria世界的政治待遇得以恢复。

Scorpius和Crichton戴着"I-Yensch"手镯相互进行制约，如果一个人被杀，另一个也活不了。船员们私底下仍然担心破坏指挥舰的秘密计划会曝光。不久，Aeryn与旧相识Henta发生了矛盾，D'Argo也被和平卫士的致命武器袭击。为了安全起见，D'Argo、Rygel、Chiana和Jool决定回到Moya，但是Aeryn留了下来，她要帮助Crichton和Crais。

众人刚刚踏上Moya，突然出现的和平卫士突击队将他们抓回了指挥舰。Scorpius的上司－－司令官Grayza正在等候他们，一切似乎都在他的掌握之中。

3x19 I-Yensch, You-Yensch

Rygel and D'Argo meet with Scorpius in a diner on a desolate planet in order to negotiate their freedom: Crichton will board Scorpius's Command Carrier and assist Scorpius with his wormhole research; in return, Scorpius will grant immunity to Moya, Talyn, and the rest of Moya's crew. As a safeguard against double-crosses, Scorpius suggests that Crichton and Lt. Braca should wear I-Yensch bracelets that will synchronize their nerve impulses so that they experience one another's pain. D'Argo and Rygel argue that Scorpius should wear the second bracelet, not Braca; however, before the deal is completed, two heavily armed crazies burst in and hold up the diner.

Meanwhile, trouble is brewing with Talyn. Suffering from extreme paranoia, Talyn blows up a hospital ship carrying 6,000 innocent passengers. Though Talyn expresses extreme remorse, Crais is afraid that it will happen again unless they get Talyn some help. He suggests that the only solution is to shut Talyn down, eradicate his biologics, and then bring him back to life with a full cognitive systems replacement. Moya is distraught when she hears the suggestion - it amounts to erasing Talyn's personality and returning him to the mentality of a "newborn" - and Talyn, incensed at the suggestion, fires upon Moya.

Back in the Diner, with both D'Argo and Braca badly injured, Rygel and Scorpius reluctantly join forces and defeat the armed robbers. Their teamwork during the fray provides them with a basis to trust one another; the deal is clinched, with Scorpius consenting to wear the second I-Yensch bracelet.

Crichton, Aeryn, and Crais soothe both Moya and Talyn. Eventually both mother and son come to accept what must be done, allowing Crais and Aeryn to board Talyn - and shut him down.

3x20 Into the Lion's Den PART I:Lambs to the Slaughter

Claiming that he has elected to side with the Peacekeepers against the Scarrans, Crichton manages- with some help from the Scorpy clone - to lead Scorpius to believe that he is aboard the Command Carrier to help him master wormhole technology.

Granted diplomatic immunity during their stay, the rest of the crew also boards the ship and as negotiated, D'Argo and Rygel receive what they asked for: D'Argo has his clavicle rings removed and receives a file on Macton's latest assignment and current whereabouts. Rygel is given an update on the political situation in Hyneria.

Although both Scorpius and Crichton wear the I-Yensch bracelets which act as a safeguard against double-crossing by linking their nervous systems - if one is hurt or killed, so is the other - the crew feels exposed. Their fears are soon realised when Aeryn encounters open hostility from her old friend Henta and D'Argo is attacked by a Peacekeeper carrying a deadly weapon. Deciding it will be safer on Moya, D'Argo, Rygel, Chiana and Jool return to the ship. Despite the barely-veiled hostility from the Peacekeeper crew, Aeryn chooses to stay on the Command Carrier with Crichton and Crais. Not long after the others arrive back on the Leviathan, Moya is hit with an Immobilizer Pulse and the crew is escorted back to the Command Carrier under orders from Commandant Mele-On Grayza - Scorpius's superior.

3x17 The Choice

伤心欲绝的Aeryn来到一个充满神秘家和骗子的星球上，希望能找到某种方法与死去的Crichton交流。但是，她意外得到了父亲Talyn Lyczac的消息。

Aeryn相信父亲已经死去多年，因此当有人出现在旅馆房间里并自称Talyn Lyczac时，Aeryn十分警觉。这个人的脸已经完全不可辨认了，但是他却知道Aeryn过去的每一个细节，并且血液检测结果也证实了他和Aeryn的血缘关系。当他听说Aeryn痛失所爱时，答应帮助Aeryn与死去的Crichton建立联系。

为了寻找Aeryn，Stark和Rygel也来到这个星球，意外发现了Aeryn母亲Xhalax Sun的踪迹－－她和她的和平卫士分队仍然在追寻Crais和Talyn的下落。Crais曾说他在战斗中杀死了Xhalax，愤怒的Stark和Rygel回去和Crais对质，认为他背叛了大家。Crais承认自己和Xhalax达成了秘密协议：他答应放Xhalax一条生路，而Xhalax则回报和平卫士最高指挥部"所有要抓的人都已经死了"。

Crais、Stark和Rygel想要警告Aeryn躲开Xhalax，但是Aeryn沉浸在悲痛之中，不愿见大家。然而谁也不知道，那个所谓的"父亲"其实是Xhalax派来的奸细。

Xhalax冲了进来，杀死了"Talyn Lyczac"，与Aeryn形成对峙。Aeryn这才发现，发生的所有事情都是Xhalax精心设计的圈套，目的是要折磨Aeryn。Xhalax因为屡遭失利，心情苦闷，意志扭曲，认为只有折磨Aeryn才能减轻自己的痛苦。Aeryn能否让自己的母亲走出阴影，面对现实？

3x18 破碎
3x18 Fractures

离Moya和Talyn的会合地不远，Moya探测到一个运输舱正朝他们飞来。Crichton、D'Argo、Chiana和Jool认为这是Talyn的船员回来了，于是一起兴奋地在降落舱等待着，准备欢迎同伴们。但运输舱中走出来的却是一个Scarran（Naj Gil）、一个Nebari（Hubero）和一个Hynerian（Orrhn），后面还跟着一个满身是伤的和平卫士（Markir Tal），连声向他们求救。

Scarran人Naj Gil解释说，他们的运输舱是和平卫士试验新武器的靶子，他们抓了一个到舱里做最后检查的和平卫士工程师，这才逃了出来。

不久，Talyn抵达，但是众人并没有久别重逢的喜悦。另一个"双胞胎"Crichton已经不在人世，Stark离开大家去寻找Zhaan，这些消息都让人心情沉重。

大家很快发现新来的四个人中间有一个危险分子，他重伤了那个Scarran人。大家相互指责，气氛骤然紧张起来。Chiana一心保护Hubero，带着他从发怒的D'Argo面前逃走了；Rygel将Orrhn藏到了Moya的内部管道中，这个女Hynerian已经让Rygel着了迷。

此时，Crais和Jool正忙于应付运输舱里的另一位不速之客－－一种叫做Boolite的奇特外星生物。这种生物虽然被打成了很多碎片，如果及时将碎片合到一起，它仍有可能活下来。但谁也不知道这些碎片的下落……

众人调查发现，Orrhn是真正的凶手。她曾和Markir Tal定下协议，两人通过互助来逃生。Markir Tal和Orrhn将Rygel绑作人质，准备前往降落舱。Crais和Markir Tal发生了激战，Hubero在混乱中被杀死，Orrhn和Markir Tal带着Rygel进入了运输舱。

Crichton、Aeryn和D'Argo将运输舱赶进了D'Argo的外星飞船，成功解救出Rygel。

回到Moya，Crichton看到了另一个Crichton留下的全息录像，警告他关于虫洞技术的危险性。Crichton知道另一个Crichton牺牲自己是为了让虫洞技术不至于落入Scarran之手，他于是对所有人宣布：自己将前往Scorpius的指挥舰，彻底毁掉Scorpius关于虫洞的一切研究。

3x17 The Choice

Grieving for Crichton on a planet of mystics and frauds, Aeryn hopes it may be possible to somehow contact the dead Crichton. Instead, she is brought news of her father, Talyn Lyczac

Believing her father long dead, Aeryn is wary when a man claiming to be Talyn Lyczac appears in her hotel room. The man is unrecognizable because his face has undergone a horrific alteration; however, he knows details about Aeryn's past and provides a convincing blood spectrometer reading as proof of their relationship. When he hears that Aeryn has lost Crichton, Talyn offers to help her contact him.

While searching the planet for Aeryn, Stark and Rygel spy Xhalax Sun, Aeryn's Peacekeeper mother who was the commander of a Retrieval Squad that had been hunting down Crais and Talyn. Believing Crais had murdered Xhalax in their previous battle with the Retrieval Squad (in "Relativity"), Stark and Rygel furiously confront Crais with his betrayal. Crais confesses to making a deal with Xhalax: he offered Xhalax her life; in return, she'd inform Peacekeeper High Command that they were all dead.

Crais, Stark, and Rygel attempt to warn Aeryn about Xhalax, but Aeryn, consumed by her grief, has no wish to see them and orders them to leave. What none of them know is that the man claiming to be Aeryn's father is, in fact, an imposter working for Xhalax Sun.

Xhalax finally makes her move, confronting Aeryn and "Talyn" - and shooting "Talyn" dead. As mother and daughter face off, Aeryn discovers that all these events have been part of an elaborate plan conceived by Xhalax to torture Aeryn. Bitter and twisted about her own failures, Xhalax has convinced herself that torturing Aeryn is the only way to alleviate her own pain. It is now left up to Aeryn to force her mother to face the truth.

3x18 Fractures

Not far from Moya and Talyn's rendezvous point, Moya's senses pick up a Transport Pod coming their way. Convinced that it's Talyn's crew returning, Crichton, D'Argo, Chiana, and Jool wait anxiously in the hangar to greet their shipmates. They are surprised when a Scarran (Naj Gil), a Nebari (Hubero), a Hynerian (Orrhn), and a badly bruised Peacekeeper Tech (Markir Tal) step out of the Transport Pod and ask for help.

The Scarran explains that their Pod was meant as a target for the testing of a new Peacekeeper weapon; they only managed to escape by overpowering the Tech as he was doing his last checks on the Pod.

Later, Talyn does arrive - but the long-awaited reunion with Aeryn, Crais, and Rygel is not what anyone expected; Crichton reels from the news that the other, "twinned" Crichton is dead and that Stark has gone off in search of Zhaan.

Moya's crew soon discovers there's a traitor in their midst when the Scarran is shot and badly wounded. Accusations are thrown around and the tension between the crew members becomes unbearable. Chiana, fiercely protective of Hubero, flees from an enraged D'Argo; Rygel goes into hiding in Moya's ducts with Orrhn, the female Hynerian with whom he has become besotted.

Meanwhile, Crais and Jool struggle to patch together the Pod's other occupant - a strange alien being called a Boolite who has been blasted into several pieces but who may still survive if put back together in time. Unfortunately, no one knows which pieces are supposed to go where...

It is finally revealed that Orrhn is responsible for shooting the Scarran and that she has struck a deal with the Peacekeeper Tech for mutual survival. Orrhn and the Tech head for the Transport Hangar, taking Rygel along as a bargaining chip. Crais and the Tech exchange fire; in the melee, Hubero is shot dead. Orrhn and the Tech, holding Rygel hostage, escape in a Transport Pod.

In a daring rescue attempt, Crichton, Aeryn, and D'Argo pursue the escaping Pod in D'Argo's alien ship and retrieve Rygel unharmed.

Back on Moya, Crichton watches a holographic message from the other Crichton, warning him of the danger of wormhole technology. Realizing the sacrifice the other Crichton made to keep the technology out of Scarran hands, Crichton announces to the crew his decision to board Scorpius's Command Carrier and sabotage Scorpius's wormhole research.
